Nothing has been heard of these engines again. Nor the car... Has Capricorn bankrupt from trying to release too many things at the same time? Whats going on with this company.......

Nope man. I have only seen this engine race once, and that was when Eddie Colon came here to race in December.
Im asking because the engine internal's look very good. But I dont like being a test rabbit.
Seems Murnan stopped distributing the engines here. So hence why I ask, what is going on. I am not trying to bash nor discredit the product.

I bought a CL12E from Murnan when he carried the line. I broke it in using the Murnan bench method as well as replaced the conrod after the 1st gallon.. I've put over 3 gallons through the engine so far and the piston still gets stuck on colder days when i first put it on the started box. Runtime has been very good and power has been extremely excellent.
My only concern is that I wish Capricorn had a US distributor again. Capricorn has some great products. I was using a Capricorn glowplug with great results. Same with tires (caution though, the black carbon Kyosho rims can be very brittle. Just don't hit the wall!)

-Capricorn CL12E .12 engine
-Capricorn #6 glowplug
-Capricorn Sirio 2611 pipe and header
-Capricorn black carbon kyosho tires (either 38 or 40 f/r I dont remember!)
I'm really digging the black/silver/red/cf theme of my +Evo/Capricorn combo.

hi capricorn factory,
i bought my capricorn engine. i found out when i bring in much on the idle screw my carb become very unsmooth. is it normal or my idle screw is not straight?
I get this problem out of the box.

i have just started running in my Capricorn engines, and i get the same thing. i didnt quite understand what you were trying to say, but now first hand i know.
when you raise the idle under rich conditions (run in) the slide actually start to lock up. the idle screw is stopping the slide form working freely. im sure once past the run in, when the engine is leaned off, the idle screw wont be screwed in as much. then it wont really be a problem. but something to be aware of.

the 21 looks very good, the 12, also looks good. in the early stage of run in, both engines easy to fire up, stay running easily. i feel the 21 will take some runnign in. the 12 not as much. if weather permitts, i will try to run next weekend.

the 12 was impressive. still could be leaned out some. but ill leave that for Sydney. had some issues with the 21, but was a plug fault. new bad plug. so once i tried another plug, it was all good. changed fuel for the final, did a couple of tune stops. still pretty rich, but also impressive. both engines seem to be the goods. ill get soem rods for them, change em , and box em up for the nats.

Ran the 12etx at our interclub round today at Brendale.Man all i have to say is WOW and it wowed alot of people even the nova drivers temp is sitting at round 110deg laptimes are in the 18s.I am running nova 6tgf plugs and found that i got better fuel economy than running the sirio 6 plugs. The real test is going to be the QLD state title in 3 weeks.
