Would have to agree with George on the CL12-ET internals. Quality and materials are better. I will say this, with any motor it's a roll of the dice. I'm not sure quality control is a priority with any of the engine muanufacturers. I have 2 Sirio Evo 4 STI's and the engine numbers are only about 30 digits apart so they came off the line at about the same time. I took both apart before firing them up and the 1st onehad some metal burrs from the milling on the button and/or cooling head. It would have been a disaster had I not checked it. Incidently it's a much faster motor than my 2nd STI and they were broken in the same. My CL12 ET has a much tighter pinch after the same break in than do the Sirios and it still locks up from time to time on the starter box so it does surprise me that some are experiencing a loss of the pinch so early on with this engine. Just my .02 cents.

You need to polish up your English a bit. I said I sorted it out. That means it's done!

I had all the business dealings with you I will ever need.
I will be at the toy fair this weekend and I might just come by to meet you.

Why PM? Are you afraid about your reputation?

I gotta an easy fix for that. Do honest business and it will come all by itself.

After approx 5 litres, internal of the Prototype XXX(CL12 ETX).
Used 25% & plug 7. Combo with WCE clutch and 2611 tune pipe.
I had the most power all last weekend race. Won the A main.
No play at all on the conrod/ pin or bearing/ crankshaft.

Thanks for the support Capricorn.

Default sti4 vs cl12e

hi guys,
since the CL12E is improved based on sirio evo4, how is it compared to STI4?

or STI4 should be compared to the CL12ET instead?

deciding between STI4 and CL12E...

I'm asking this because i want to know if ít's proven technology and not a totaly new concept which could give problems.

The tuned engines are more like the new XXX Sirio, but with some hand tuning. The timing is different than the old Sirio Evo 4. The fit, and finish of the Capricorn engines are better than that of Sirio. This engine runs better, and has more power than the Evo 4 too.
