Team Magic E4 Thread

I run the e4rs on rubber tire carpet. Its has been the best rubber tire car for me since i have been racing. I just recieved my DE special edition and i am building that for this year carpet season, and it should be even better! Wolf Has made parts that will make the car that much better. His front and rear hubs take the slop out of the car and the new red anodizing makes it that much cooler. But either way you go the e4 in my opinion is a great car on carpet.

I guess that gives the kit some needed exposure and I think maybe even a little bit of a break on shipping and what-not. Also I know there will be someone there to recieve it once it arrives.
You are building yours ? So it does come as a kit ! Awesome.. my C1 came assembled and there were issues. This new car is going to be PERFECT!
The Tekin motor and speedo will look great with all those red anodized parts.
I can't wait, I can't wait, I can't wait, I can't wait, I can't wait!

Its not done yet, but you guys can get the basics of it. The car is pretty much box stock, the only thing i didnt use, was the gold turnbuckles. : / not the flashiest. lol. I put the ones that i had on my rs for now, but hunting down some red or black ones. the chassis is a little dfferent, but the car goes together so easy and the wolf parts look real good and takes the slop out. On the rs and fs the chassis was bevelled so it wouldnt catch on the carpet, but on this chassis those are gone and the chassis is that much narrower?

Hey guys,
I'm running the e4rs 09 edition.I do have a question about the amount of play/slop in the axles.this area seems to be the biggest let down of an otherwise fantastic car.
How do u guys solve this problem?
Thanks and regards

I used some 10x13mm shims to take out the slop on mine.
I put mine right between the outside bearing and the hub.
It is a little trial and error to find the right thickness to take out all of the slop but it worked.

Clean the parts with non residue spray ... electric motor cleaner.
Take a Q-tip and some medium super glue and make a thin layer around the plastic there the outer race of the bearing rests. Let it dry and try to fit the bearing ... if it's still lose... add another layer . Make sure you let the glue dry completely before attempting to fit the parts together.
Shimming the bearings on the axle will not remove the slop in these parts , only puts undue stress laterally on the bearings but will make them move together. Not solving the problem just causing others. Good luck with that one.

What's the deal with wolfhobbies I ordered parts for my E4 and they cancel my order for some reason. I just got an e-mail stating "Your order# 00007532 has been cancelled by the store Administrator. Thank you."
