I usually end up with about 26mm in the rear
You racing this weekend? The Tamiya crew will be out in full force.

Does anyone know where do get a spool for a 415 msx? I would prefer a Tamiya part to remain TCS legal. Will the unit for the 416 fit in the 415? I've been looking all over online line and haven't been able to find anything.

Yeah thats right , fine tune for your track though 26mm for a tight track
and 25mm for sweeping longer track

3 hole pistons and 50wt front 3 hole and 35wt rear

try white fronts and blue rears and tyre tweak rears only

also keep your ride height neutral say 5mm front rear.

H T helps

That price is crazy high. Nexus racing sells the same thing for $27...

If I was gonna spend $50 on a tray for my 415, I would rather buy something nice like this that moves the lipo out from under the bulkhead:

I thought I share with you guy's what I made
I could'nt find any diff covers for my cars, everybody was out of stock. So I decided to make my own using the lexan leftover from cutting out the wheel opennings on the bodies. Withe the 416 half the diff balls are exposed so I needed to do somthing. From the Pics I used clear on the 416, it now serves as an inspection window too. On the 415 I used white. You basically just use the pulley as a template and cut with lexan scissors, next I used the body reamer for the center hole. And bam your DIY diff covers
415

416

and the body I used when I cut the wheel openings

since I built the cars I have never rebuilt the diffs even after 6 races and practicing everyday on some light dust asphalt

nice cover idea,

I just use old stickers and cut them out like a donut and they 'stick' to the diff gear, I put some anti wear grease where it touches the outdrive and nothing get's through
