This is probably a basic question, but what is the difference between running 100k in the front diff with 60k in the rear as opposed to 60k in the front and 20k in the rear. They both have a difference of 40k. I just noticed that some of the mugen folks seem to run lighter oil all the way around and was just wondering what the difference is. Thanks

If i run diff's i run 80k in the front and 40k in the rear, sometimes 60k in the rear but that's only when the track is in perfect condition, like when there are big races. On small tracks however i use a solid axle in front.

Guys i am currently facing a problem with my transmission every time it goes into second gear it jams and the 2 speed adapter (335570) is stuck in an open position. Any idea why this is happening, my hex screws are set to stock settings and it still happens...
I have also noticed the shoes have alot of play when placed inside of the 2nd Gear carrier..
Any ideas?

put the pins in and adjust the shoe for minimal clearince in your 2 speed carrier 335520 i do mine up till it gets tight then back screw off 1/4 turn one side at a time.. they fine tune on the track
