As for the phillips screws, I recommend you replace them with stainless steel or titanium. The torx screws are harder to find and you would need a T10 torx driver.

Depending on the brand of pinion gear you buy, you may need a US measurement driver for the set screw. I can't remember what the size is.
If I remember right, you dont even need the 2.0mm for the R2.

Hudy has to bundled sets. One has just metrics and the other includes the U.S. sizes too.

Speedtech carries the Alex ones, but I'm not sure if they are hex. Call and ask Steve. Also see if he can get the titaniums if you want those.

On mine I use stainless screws from RCscrewz.com. You can buy the screw kit or the screw packs.

Here are the quantity and sizes of the flathead from the manual:
24 - 3x8
19 - 3x10
8 - 3x12
4 - 3x20

YGPM - stainless screws

i think you should consider MIP drivers 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 they are very good and should you manage to break one they are located right here in So Cal area and for $8 they fix it.

You have to go e-shop to see them or you can go to the serpent-usa site. Either way, they come from Serpent USA.

You'll also see the sockets come in a set, too. Some you use, other you won't.

The reason for changing screws is to get away from the phillips head junk that comes with the kit.

rocketron has a nice looking stainless set, so if you're gonna get screws, get em through him.

Hex screws come in HEX, Button head, and Flathead. You want to replace the phillips flathead.
