Well hello everyone! SD racer here! hehe. Anyways, my friend broke his R2. Didn't think it was possible. But he broke an Arm!!! And the front Shock tower!!

Anyways he let me borrow the car for a few weeks since he won't be racing. So I'm gonna tune it for this track. Just curious, but what is the caster on the front blocks? Also is there an easy way to tell spring rates since all the springs are black? I might just end up using my Yokomo springs instead. Hmmm can't think of any more questions off the top of my head. Guess I'll have to start reading more on here to learn about the car for the next few weeks. Thanks.....

Default Alex Springs

Check the spring chart...
you can count the coils to see what you have, its pretty easy once you get the hang of it.
6.0x1.4 is standard.

You are not supposed to drive through things with ANY race car Dave...lol. Our SD guys are losing their batteries out of the car. There is something else they break but I'm not sure. Still a sweet car though. If Dave, Steve and KO hadn't steered me to my R2, that is what I'd be driving. I loved my Yoke MR4TC Pro, it handled like a dream and won many, many races with it. Dave, see if KO can have them decals made up for you.

Hi, thanks for the picture for the shocks. Do the rear shocks get an extra 1mm shim or are both built the same. Speedthechs supplemental sheet says to use a 1mm shim. Also the shock springs that come with the kit all look the same( length). I thought they were supposed to be different. Thanks again for the help.

Actually I dont even use the inner spacers. I dont think there is any real need for them, since you adjust droop with screws, having them in there will just limit your droop should you need to use a lot.

The springs are 1.4 x 6, they are all the same. 1.4 x 5.75 will be the same length, but it will have 5.75 spring coils, causing it to be a bit stiffer. The springs dont vary in length at all.
