i've got two max MF tuned world editions but these are my special occasion motors. if the CRF does not perform i might consider one as a clubby Ninja? nah, don't really like them. Sirios are great but they are like a sicilian, temperamental b@stards and they can blow up (a conrod) in your face without warning lol!

You are exactly correct.

Not justifying there cost but i think "IMO" there's more to the cost than material, development and testing would also be factored in I'm sure, I'm in the school of thought of sell cheap with large turn over = "Profit" out weighs high prices with lower turn over = Break even or have it sit on the shelf, I'm more than happy with this engine at the moment, the more i run it in the better it's getting, I'm gob smacked at how much this engine wants to get up and go while still running quite rich, of to the track soon for some track time and tuning, just hope no one increases there prices to capitalise on how good this engine is for profit

I agree that there are other thing besides material cost, but Picco also has the same cost for development and testing.

As XR said, Thanks for clearing that up!
I assume that the picco pipe with a conical manifold will have better performance than the standard header on the Red Dot?
