air8, the 5 will very good, lots of bottom. i have seen this thing throw some truggies over some pretty wild tripples, so there is no need to worry about bottom end with this motor, a good pipe to start with is a 053, if you have one, the JP3 everyone seems to have those they are good but don't offer the best runtime over some others, 2050,2060,msr1005 are all my fav pipes for the GO motors, the 5 will offer the top end you want as well, they pull a good bit. The 7 port is a tad smoother on the bottom but alot of people are choosing it over the 5 and lovin it in truggy, but you can't go wrong with the 5 or either really. The standerd head motors i like the OS A3, i have always ran them with 0 issues, and the P3 or P6 with the turbo motors. Also on the 5 it has so much grunt anyway you will enjoy the runtime you gain by going to a smaller restrictor, Go offers a set, and the smallestis 6.5, the 5 and 7 ports are going over 9 min stock and 11+ modded. Have fun with it.

I'm getting ready to break in new motor with 30% do I put the extra shim on top of the one already in it or take the one out and exchange it for the other? 7 port and this thing has pinch like i have never seen!!!!!!

Use the shim for break in. I have a Go 5 port turbo with a little over a gallon and it is still super tight!!! I would also recommend preheating the motor with a heat gun before starting. The 5 port has awesome torque, running mine with a dynamite 086 pipe in an mbx5r buggy and loving it.

all go 7 port owner hear this!!!
i raced the engine for 3 gallons with nova 9886 pipe and liked it very much.
today i checked other pipes as i needed an efra approved pipe, and when i fitted a rb 2045 and it origianl header (rb 192), me and the other racers was shocked!
excellent top end, and unreal bottom, it was like a very very powerful short track engine with the top end of large track engine. i'm a very good driver and it was to much for me.
you should try it!!

rossoh, Add a .1mm shim or remove the existing .1mm shim and add a .2mm shim
Andrew, 190f is a little cold you never want to run the engine under 210f, you will want to lean the HSN about 2-3 hours on top, you alway tune your HSN for performance before adjusting the LSN. Its really hard to explain stuff online if there is some local guys you can ask go to them, if not PM your phone number and I can give you a call.

Rossoh, you should tune your LSN after the HSN is set, let the engine sit on the box and rev it up high make sure that it clears out all the fuel, then hit full brake and count to 6, on the box lean out the LSN until there is a hesitation on the box after a 6 second count. If your engine is still under a 1-1.5 gallons, just leave it a little on the rich side and just be easy on it till it breaks in all the way.

Yo Rocket
Went back down the track this afternoon, lucky its only 5 mins away! Anyway got some info on how to set the LSN off here, did the pinch test on the fuel inlet, engine raised revs after piniching it for 2-3 seconds so pressume that was right? had to lean the LSN alot tho!
Idle is a good 40+ seconds.Leaned TSN to,temping at about 260F now and is doing about 7+ minutes on a tank,Is it now running to hot? I seem to have a hell of alot bottom end power, top end i think is ok,hard to tell with just me on the track.Have i leaned the bottom end way to much?
Fuel-25% Byron
Plug-Odonell 99
Pipe-Jammin 2047
Engine is a gallon + 1/2 old now.
Hope someone can give me some insite....
Cheers guys
