Paul here's a link to some photos of the indoor track I race on during the winter season. The first photo is my Maxx. The track is small. About 40x60' and very techical with a lot of air and elevation changes. My Maxx turns consistant lap times equal or a bit better than top Stock stadium trucks. It's detuned quite a bit for indoor but on our huge outdoor track the truck is equal to most nitro monster trucks.

Hi T-maxxers,

I just want to give you the news that MicroRCshop is carrying T-maxx's parts soon.

We are trying to give the Monster Truck's market the same great service and price as Micro's. Please feel free to drop us some notes and suggestions.

Default Need Help

I have a t maxx that I recently put an os .18 cv r engine into it. I had to modify the crankshaft and add a pilot shaft to it. I got the truck running and now when I give it throttle it won't move. While it is idling you can see it start to move forward. I feel like the clutch is working since it makes the gear move spur gear spins at a higher rate when i give it throttle. I am not sure where to start trouble shooting on this, could someone help.

Default e-maxxed

got it in a trade. 3906 with FLM 1.5 stretch chassis and lower chassis brace in black anno, full RPM treatment with rear true track, RRP diffs w/ 3mm screws and aluminum cups. ACNCM alu bulks, Gorillamaxx single speed with RCM idler, supermaxx shocks. MIP center, RR spurs. traxxas 17mm hex with HPI rims and tires. still looking around for a esc/motor combo. CGR body came off an axial i just sold.
PICS

still debating about an EZrun system since the pricing is attractive, or MMM, Tekin, Novak.
any input on a good bashing esc/motor combo is welcome.

I built pretty much the same thing except mine uses the gorillamaxx race suspension but with UE towers and not the GM towers. Mine uses 3.3 drive axles, knuckles and turnbuckles and FLM Hybrid bulks with 7.5Ofna 6 spyder diffs.

I've used a feiago 8XL (ran ok, but was always running hot) with a Quark125b esc running 5S2P a123 (was 1st), next was a tekno 1515 1Y again with the Quark125b and 5S2P a123s. That was better, but motor seemed to run warmer that I wanted (nothing like the feiago though!)

Last thing I ran was a CC 2200 combo on 6S. That was borderline too much to control and required a lot of throttle control - mashing throttle flipped it or wheelied it hard sending it into a cartwheel. Spent a lot of time turning that back over.

Mines all apart currently, cleaned up chassis, re-polished all the alum, serviced diffs etc. Thinking about adding UE mono block to increase wheelbase ~2in and help tame the wheelies. Best I've run was the CC combo and I'm going to put it back in. I'm thinking about trying 4S lipo to see if thats a little more sensible control wise.

Black looks nice, I got mine before FLM started offereing anno'ed kits.

your rig sounds hawt, post pics if you could. ive had MM in my other 10th scale and am aware of the power-and heat on those motors so im kinda iffy on the MMM 220kv since this rig will be used mainly for bashing, if the tekin werent made of unobtainium i could go that route. wonder what the novak HV combo would be for this kind of rig ???
