I like the looks of the CRC dish rims a lot better than anything else out there for 1/12th (everything else just looks funky) but it's all about performance.

I question everything

lower rotating mass = quicker accelerating
short side wall = less foam flex = better handling

down side is less foam = less mileage

only thing I use though even for club racing

the larger wheel on the procuts allow you to run a larger diameter tire/wheel combo for more forward traction without having a tall foam sidewall.you cut the foam low and still have a larger overall wheel/tire which will give the forward traction due to a larger contact patch and at the same time you will have little sidewall flex to free the car up laterally.

i ran them at our last carpet race down here in florida.i really did like them.they are still too big for my taste so i still had to cut them.they are the perfect size for asphalt though.im sure the size they come will be fine for club racing.they are just too big for when the traction comes up.i definately liked them alot.

A couple of guys run them down here on asphalt. They seem to chunk more and seem to be alittle stiffer on a durometer compared to a parma or jaco tire cut to size.

i havent run into chunking problems with them but they do seem a little harder.i mostly run the jaco 2 stage double pink front and rear.i have been the fastest with that combo.the 2 stage tires peel as they get on the low side but there is always a price to pay i guess. i just keep an eye on the size and sidewalls

i like the parmas but i dont like the offset on the rears.they make the track width extremely narrow and i need to use a ton of shims.

You will know they are too low when the stage washes out and the tire begins to fold in. The front of the car starts to hop!

yeah.asphalt is pretty rough.then again.that really isnt much wear for the 2 stage.they dont run as small as standard tires.the front only wears about .100 throughout 2 practice runs,2 heats and the main.
