Default yokomo bd carpet setup

has anyone got a really good carpet setup for rubber and mod.

the carpet is brand new and is very high traction.its a fair size track. struggling to keep it on all 4 wheel cuz of grip roll.
i was running sorex 24r prebuilds which are 2 grippy. was thinking sorex 28's with echo yellows inserts.
tried using one way but u gotta have brakes round it. tried spool seemed hard to drve.
any idea of a good start point.
also been struggling with on power steering any idea how get some back
.im running 50wt all round with 2 hole 1.2mm piston . associated blue spring front silver rear( was gold blue but went down due to grip roll)

any help appreciated

I'm no expert on carpet, in fact only ever race on it twice, but I would have thought carpet racing will heat up the tyres considerably, even more than asphalt racing. That said I'm thinking that Sorex 32r or 36r would have a better temprature range more suited to the conditions. Maybe someone with some more experience on the surface could help.
On asphalt Hara inserts are my choice and seem to work as good or better then anything I have tried; can't see any reason they wouldn't work well on carpet as long as you got the hard inserts.

Possibly try looking at your droop settings to limit the amount of weight transfered to the rear of the car when on power.

Sorex 28R is about perfect, with Orion JB foam blue(light weight medium thick on medium grip, thick one on high grip track).Never has overheat problem unless you run it in summer. 24R when grip is low, but on high grip track, the car wants to move side to side a bit and traction roll of course. You can do something like shock, springs, droop, etc to reduce traction roll, but the most effective way is to coat the outside side wall(up to the shoulder) with super glue. You may have to recoat it every few runs.
On power steering, try 1.1mm x2holes piston at the rear with 40-45w oil(you can keep the 1.2mm x2holes piston on the front shocks), moves the rear shocks to outside holes on tower, try rayspeed yellow, HPI pink, Tamiya blue or X-ray white at the rear, these are a bit stiffer than Asso silver but softer than Asso blue. These help on-power steering a lot.

Ok, here we go this seemed to work pretty much anywhere and there was no grip roll when the grip came up.

Dual 1ways
2 neg camber all round
Inline steering blocks
droop 5 front 4 rear
springs rayspeed red front and white rear
55wt oil with 1.2mm x 3 pistons
3 deg rear toe in
front shock position on tower second from inside and middle on arm
rear shock position on tower second from inside and outside on arm
2mm spacer under front ball end at bulkhead and 1.5 under front suspension mounts and 0.5 rear.

thanks alot for the help will try wednesday night at club.
mate just said about grip roll on my car didnt thinka bout it. been running a orion lipo cuz its loads lighter. be y it grip rolling looked at it and it only does it right hand bendswhen u need the weight that side to keep it down .
gonna chuck load weight on that side as well me thinks.
my mate used cs22 with shumacher orange in them( x soft) overheated about 4 mins was on about going up to the yellow.
any idea if the yok 38m would work also got some pit medhard inserts little bit harder than the 38m. ive been to a lot of tracks but dam has this carpet got some grip and they wanted to use additive, i dont think so.
