in the end got gaskets fro the LC Racing vehicles, those seemed to work out okay, you just need to factor in thickness if anyone else making these.

Good evening all!

Can anyone with a 14B with the factory kit threaded shocks provide a couple measurements of both front and rear shocks?

Eye-to-eye length measurement uninstalled?
Outer diameter of the spring?
Hole size for the rod ends?

Thank you!

I can't find a furitek 4600kv and esc sold together as a combo. Did you have to buy yours separately? And there's a bunch of different savox mini servos so do you know the model number of the one you have? And the model numbers for your esc and motor?

Nevermind. Found a Furitek 5600kv Grom combo that looks like it should work. But don't know if it's a direct fit so I'll update when I find out. It will be awhile though because I'm still waiting for the buggy kit to arrive and now the esc and motor combo. I already have a receiver, now just need to figure out which servo to get.

Do lc racing diffs fit with their pinions and ring gears? no drives shaft issues? what about the center diff can it be replaced with and lC one?

Unfortunatly the inner diameter of the LC pinion gear that should go on the center diff outshaft has a smaller diameter than the AE. 3mm for LC, 4mm for the AE. The pin that locks the rotation is also shorter, LC 5 mm and AE 7mm.

You can use the LC rear and front diff if you also order the metal diff set from AE...

Confusion by my side the LC (L6154) needs a 4mm shaft and 1,5x6 pin (L6233). The one I measured was the Steel bevel gear 16T inside the diff (L6199)

Regarding the AE center diff and the LC sleeper, I think it would be a pain as the bearing are not the same. But maybe Richard can give you more inputs on this point.

The LC metal Differential pinion gear (L6154) looks pretty close to the plastic AE 21526 Pinion gear, though . Both have 15T. I don't have a LC available at the moment to check, but I have been able to test them and it was working.

Default New 14b

Been a while since I’ve played around with RCs. Decided to get a 14b yesterday at the LHS (they were getting rid of them at a great deal). The last time I raced RCs was with FM frequencies for the radio. While tuning this today with the steering and throttle, I am finding the steering to jitter every so often and occasionally the steering g goes all the way to the left for some reason (this is after I adjusted the steering trim). Any reason why this would happen.

Also, what are some necessary upgrades needed for this? I am reading how the gears could strip.
