Hey Guys,

HOPE Yall had a Safe and Fun Halloween!!

I had a few too many coldies watching the Nascar Playoffs and fell asleep! My laptop is still out for service so I tried setting up my track and running LapTrax on my iPad, but it would miss atleast 1 lap per 75 lap run, and after it missed 3 laps on my BoxStock run I got frustrated and quit! So I'll only have the 2 classes I ran in last week.

As for November/ December layout we're going to try Gerry Burr's roundabout layout! I tried it when he posted it and it was fun and different than anything else we have run!

Hope yall enjoy it, and I have a feeling we are going to have some very fast runs!!! I'll update the pic with arrow marker and corner numbers after my laptop is back. Im a dumb arse when it comes to doing stuff on my phone! Heck.I hope this post gets posted! LOL

Looks like we had a few new folks join us, WELCOME!!!!

I'm usually better at posting here and on Facebook, but with my laptop down, and being ignorant with my phone, I've been quite here! Sorry! It should be back this week, so I'll post here as usual.

I give everyone till the 3rd to get the runs they ran up till midnight on the last day of the month to post, and I'll tally and post the results on the 4th.

Hope yall enjoy the Roundabout layout!!

Default Mini96 October Results

Well this was probably the busiest month of the year so far! Lots of work travel. I was only able to put in a little more than half the laps (just over 7,000) as I did in September. But in September I also had surgery so was getting in a lot with that. In the beginning I was struggling with CCW. I don’t race 1/10 oval too often but go CCW with that so I knew I would get it. The mini96 can be soo frustrating when you are pinging off the walls. I knew I just needed to keep at it to get my consistency back. I had the fast laps just couldn’t put it together. Both times are slower than last month but again with half the laps it’s not terrible. I ran 1,711 laps just yesterday (23 races) and had the pace for sure in 2WD to be sub 300 and close in box stock but it didn’t happen. Pretty upset with these results but will come back stronger this month!

Default November Layout!!

How is everyone liking the new layout??! It’s super fast. Not hard to put down a pretty consistent run but if you have any bad laps you know that it’s not gonna stick! Fast lap for me is 2.77 in Open and 2.97 in Box Stock!

Hey Yall,

I got my laptop back from service, and they were able to repair it at no cost and didn't have to wipe my hard drive!! Thanks Geek Squad!

Anyway, my back is FINALLY letting me get some driving in, and I have been trying to get my GLR and Porsche dialed in. My 911 is in Traction Roll City and is wanting to stay there! I have an order on the way with a new 911 body, so hopefully it will be lighter than my Old release 911! My GLR had a bad on power push in the front! The front would plow threw turn 1 and the loop. It was on Marka V1R05 and PN KS 1138 with a 12C body. Well I didn't figure the 12C to last long at these speeds and having repaired the front left fender twice already, but it helped on this layout over the MakoX Lexan. So I first went to V1R10 rears and it helped, then went to PN KS 1142 Low Hight Hard fronts on +1.5, 19mm Flanged PN, and it was very good, BUT then I smacked the outside wall getting back onto the straight and cracked the repair and popped the light bucket out. So after doing some looking and weighing, I decided to go back to "The Ghost" my White Jomu with Lexan roof and wing, as it's the same weight as the 12C with a even lower CG with the Lexan roof!

All I can say now is WOW!!!!!! It is freakin running, and I am now able to run comfortable 2.8xx second laps and hit my fastest on this layout so far at a 2.790!!! SUPER GOOD for me!! I ran in a endless practice, so no 75 lap time, but even with 5 or 6 TR where I landed on my Lid and had to get up and flip it, which usually was a 12-18 second lap, I had a 3.4 second avg. over 181 laps! It will TR on the Hard fronts, and I have plenty of Disk wheels, but I just had these PN wheels taped and ready to go, so I used them. I might try with disks to see if I can get rid of the TR, but I'll live with it to have it drive as well as it is! Kind of scared to touch it!

It's raining here now, so the humidity is up to 66% @70.5*. Its a little higher than it has been so maybe the TR will calm a bit when it returns to 55-60% it usually is this time of year!

Now I have my Laptop I'll be here more often! I find rctech easier to navigate on my Laptop vs. my Phone.

Anyway, hope Yall are having fun in this twisty layout!!!

Well I got a Wild Hair this morning and thought if the extra weight of the Jomu body helped the GLR on this layout, I wonder if the PN Concept C9 body would be even better? The "Ghost Jomu" weighs 2X.XXg while the C9 is 3X.XXg. ( I'll get exact weights in a bit) And BOY did the extra weight help! The car rips the corners with no TR, and is very stable on the straight! I LOVE the look of this body, but never really cared for it as I had TR issues with it compared to a Lexan Roof Jomu, BUT on this track it is the CHIT!!! I ran a sub 4 minute run with multiple 2.7xx laps. I had a few mental mistakes after running long strings and the announced long string laps makes me forget about smooth driving, and I start worrying about screwing up! I slid it into the outside corner wall and was slow to get it unstuck, so a few +5 second laps, but a FAST run for me!! I'm HAPPY!!!

The track humidity is at 75% @ 68.3*F. Just a hit of TR if I over drove turn 1 and slammed on the brakes while turning sharp, but other than that its FREAKIN RUNNING!!! Every once in a while those wild hairs pays off, though they usually got me in trouble!

Drive Fast!
