as mentioned by Roelof ,

The receiver must be setup for whatever the servo is. IE a digital servo needs to have the receiver set to digital servo and NOT SR/UR. Only servos that can support SR/UR should be set to SR/UR.

Default Wireless Charging

I apologize if this topic has already been discussed, but is there a way to set the 10PX up for wireless charging other than kit that Futaba sells? I can’t seem to find anywhere that has them in stock.

Amazon, Alixpress, Bangood and more of those sites are filled with all kind of wireless charging modules, they are only not plug and play so you need to know some basic electronics and have some basic solder skills to make it work.

Basically just for circuit racing you even could use a 3PV but with the use of the T-FHSS receivers to get de max speed possible for normal servo's, it has all the basic settings you need.
The 10PX has tons of settings and support the latest F-4G protocol which I think it will be around for at least the next decade as also the decade old T-FHSS is still supported and the max standard for the lower priced transmitters..

Hi guys, I'm looking for a compact soft case for my 10px (one with a specific 10px foam insert). What have you found that works well and doesn't break the bank? It must also work with the drop down wheel/angle adapter in place. Was looking at the Ruddogg one which appears identical to the Jconcepts case.

I want to lighten up all the gear that I haul to races. Got tired of using the old big Futaba hardcases that weighed a lot and took up space.

Default Futaba 4PM Plus 4-Channel 2.4GHz T-FHSS Radio System (No Receiver)

Hey, I need a rx to go with this transmitter (4PM Plus 4-Channel 2.4GHz T-FHSS Radio System (No Receiver)), of these two which should I get? Or another rx?

Futaba R304SBE 2.4G FHSS Telemetry Rx FUT01102180-3

Futaba R204GF-E 2.4G SFHSS Micro 4Ch Rx FUT01102202-3

I'll be racing either touring and/or 12th scale...

Thanks,

The SB304 is no FHSS but a T-FHSS receiver. S-FHSS and T-FHSS modes are both supported on the 4PM
Here some frame speeds, for sure running 1/12 you want the max speed so the R304 would be the best choice. The R203 is in the inside just an R204, even the 4th channel is working, it only needs a pinheader and an hole in the case.

Thanks,

E receivers always the right choice for electric because no antenna means a much easier install. R304SB-E is your best best. I'd it's say the best receiver in general for the 4PM.

The S-FHSS ones are fine but there are a couple of benefits to T-FHSS (unique pairing to a receiver being the main one, telemetry back to the radio has limited applications beyond giving a value for the voltage going to the receiver).

R334 receivers offer SR mode but then you need to find SR-compatible servos to use it and that really narrows down your options and increases your costs. Plus the E version still has a mini antenna on top which misses the point.

HRS mode on the other protocols is plenty fast enough and fully compatible with all digital servos. People get strangely obsessed with the speed of the protocols and then make outlandish claims about how much better the cars feel when you use them. I'll be honest and say that I have accidentally left my radio on standard speed and barely noticed a difference on track after switching it to HRS, despite it being a big difference mathematically.

How is the 1up racing receiver compared to the R404sbs-e receiver?

I recently put together a second car with the 1up receiver. I didn't notice any response differences between the car with futaba receiver and the car with 1up receiver. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and was able to save some $$ over buying another futaba receiver.
