Tragedy struck a minute ago! While trying out some new PN KS-M Soft Radials on 0-20mm PN BBS on my 787B I was ripping some sub 4 second laps and coming around the last high speed 90* I nosed into the wall hard and cracked the nose of the 787B and knocked the head light lens off. It split at the bottom corner of the left head light where the molded in vent/grill is below the light!

I LOVE THE 787B!!! I have Plastic Weld glue that HOPEFULLY can repair it! I have some polystyrene that I am going to try to add to strengthen it. We'll see!

So another 787B or 2 will be ordered as a replacement! though on the next one I will usethe Plastic Weld to glue in the headlights to hopefully strengthen the nose.

I was wrong about the glue. It is Plastic Surgery and it seems to quickly bond/melt the pieces together, as well as my fingers!
My 12C's fender cracked behind the headlight, So I added a piece of 1mm Styrene over the top. It looks like crap, but it is holding and flexes. I've glued the 787B's nose too. I'm going to wait 24hrs for it to cure, then I'll track test it. I'll report back with the results.

Well I got most of my orders in today, which included an Audi R8 2015. It will be my Box Stock body, and after setting the clip heights and snaping in the windows, I ran it, and WOW does it handle! It's very balanced , and while driving I forgot it was my Box stock car! I haven't decided weather to paint it or not. I might just shoot a light coat of Gellow and a few decals and be done with it. Anyway, here's a few pics.

I ran the car as pictured with Marka V1 soft rears and PN KS Med. fronts, and it drove well. Then I put on a set of almost new PN KS-M Soft Radials, and it has SOOO MUCH more steering! I had to turn the d/r down to keep from T.R., it is very fast , and I got a new set of HiTec 750hv on the charger. Speaking about chargers, I got a SkyRC MC3000 charger last month, and so far it seems to be a top rate charger. It has been great at detecting weak or bad AAAs my Skyrc NC1500 says are ok. The BlueTooth is nice to keep track of the charges in my phone's gallery.

I‘m using the NC 1500 myself and am happy with it so far ( I only race with friends) as for glue I use rüderer works great for building but for a broke body I’m still searching for something for that, I use a lot of printed stuff but like I said no sanctioning body to worry about, my question is are printed parts allowed in the Mini 96 WC ? I use a front body mount spoiler and rims?

Walt, I started with the NC1500, and I like it fine and used it for 2+ years. Just watch your batteries when the get older. A couple times it overcharged a battery when it was ending it's lifespan. It got hot enough to smell it across the room. The MC3000 has a lot of adjustments, most I don't understand, but it has a baseline for the batteries and you can adjust it from there to suit your needs. I get about 8 months before I start seeing raising resistance and shorter runtimes/less punch. That is charging them 3-4 times a week. That's with PN, Enloop, Speed House, and I'm now trying HiTec X-Power R Spec 750mAh. They seem to be good after a few months.
As for printed parts, am guessing they would be fine in all but Box Stock, as I don't remember seeing `it said no. But PoorBoy can clarify it 100%

Those are some SMOKIN laps PoorBoy! You are able to get some serious drive off the corners!
I mounted up the new PN KSK 40* Low Height tires as well as the Marka V14F25-LP. The KSK's seem close to KS-M's, but the Marka's feel very much like Kyosho Factory tires. I'm going to try them and report back, but my nerves were reacting to the cold front and not happy. Hopefully tomorrow.

Just a heads up, I picked up a Merc C9, Mazda 787B, and McLaren 12C from Banzai!
I was fixing to order a Silver Horse C9, when I checked Banzai just to see what was in stock, and bam there it was a 102mm C9! So if ya like 102mm the C9 is supposed to be great, we'll see! I doubt they will be in by the end of the month, but expect to see them next month!
I wasn't up for driving today, so I tried mixing colors for all the white bodies I have to paint. But none of them looked as good to me as the Gellow. And now there's a 5 week old, 1.4lb Pug puppy my wife is fostering, she's a Vet Tech, asleep in the room with the track, so no midnight driving! His name is Bug. He's got a cleft palate and lip, but it's not slowing him down at all! He's not much bigger than a Bobble Head Doll. VERY CUTE!
Anywho, have fun getting your laps down! This track ROCKS, at least CW we'll see how CCW goes!

Well I’ve already done enough to my car that it’ll never be box stock
so it’s gonna be stock, looking at dropping a PN 70t in but 1st after I get good enough for it.
We‘ve had Beagles going on 30 years now,the girl we have now ( rescued from a Hungarian lab) likes to lay in the middle of the track to nap

I got my PN 2.5W chassis in today, and swapped my Stock chassis over. The chassis I replaced was my first MR03's chassis, because it's front body mount holes had long been stripped, then I Heli-coiled it, and it worked for over a year. But one of the tabs that hold the screws completely split. It wouldn't hold a heli-coil and trying to put a nut on it caused it to get into the spring pocket, causing a bad bind.
Anyway, it's running very well, though it needs fine tuning. I have it fitted with a PN Multi-Mount Pod, PN Gear Diff, PN 3500kv. I am trying out the new Marka V14F25-LP front tires, and while they feel hard, they actually drive pretty good! I've only ran a hundred laps or so, but so far I like them. I will time test them against some PN KS-M and KS Mediums and report back.
ALSO, I drove the new 2.5 with the repaired 12C, pictured above, and the repair held great!!! I hit the wall very hard a few times trying to push the car into a TR, and the patch never budged! I will run the 787B this weekend and hopefully it holds just as well. So I will keep yall updated on how the glue is holding, but it seems if Plastic Surgery might be a permanent fixer of Kyosho bodies!
We have been a Mini Dachshund house for 25 years having MANY over the years. All have passed on now leaving us with only a 65lb American Bully (Hip), She was raised with the Mini's, so she has NO IDEA of her size! She likes to lay in the recliner with me 24/7. We have foster puppies quite often, as my wife's clinic works with alot of rescues.

Hey Walt, I like the PN Gear Diffs quite a bit. They are smooth, quiet, quick and pretty easy to change spur gears on. Easy to clean with just a quick spray of electronics spray, then lube bearings and tiny dab on the spider gear pins. Their down sides, or at least what I have found, are you can't loosen them to allow slipping like you can with Ball Diffs, tiny parts (spider gears, pins) are expensive and rarely instock and if the tension nut loosens in a run they can strip. Luckily I haven't had it happen, alot in part of using blue thread lock on the tension nut. I have 2, 1 on my RM chassis and 1 on my Stock chassis. I run a PN Ball Diff on my ProStock chassis so I can set the slip to reduce power on take off. On the Ball diffs you get a slight bit of wobble of the Spur Gear because of the design which makes them a bit more noisy. Not a big deal unless the Wife is sleeping in the next room!
And my first MR03 ReadySet quickly went from BoxStock to Stock from me adding parts to help with control. Which was a big help learning this scale, disk damper being the most helpful. I went to a PN 70T pretty quickly after that. They really aren't that much faster, but have TONS more torque. Which makes you get to speed faster, but is A LOT to control. It puts you into the wall before you know it, but to combat this you can jump to a larger pinion, turn down the throttle D/R. For me BoxStock really became fun to drive after learning on a Stock chassis that was easier to control.
