Nope. I highly doubt a new revised ET410 2.0 platform will be coming out soon. That's just my thoughts since Tekno released the (EB/ET410 based) SCT410SL last year. And "soon" can mean many things to many people.

Personally with them having maifield I was hoping this could mean a revision to there 1/10 4wd buggy and a 2wd buggy being released ...

I was hoping he would be running some SCTs. I do believe he is only obligated to run Tekno's 1/8 scale platforms though.

Does anyone know of a conversion kit to allow me to run a taller battery in the ET410.2 (3s or 4s lipo)?

The closest I have found is:
https://modspeedshop.com/collections...-eb410-2-18013

but don't think it is compatible for the .2. There isn't a spot in the chassis to attach both brackets.

That mount wasn't compatible with any Tekno chassis (original or .2). It was specifically for the [no longer available] MIP replacement chassis.

The only thought i would have on running a taller batter (does a shorty 3s even exist in a hard case? I know 4s does) is to find a way to ‘thread’ a 1/8 velcro strap into the servo mount and behind the rear battery brace. The strap should be long enough if there is room enough in the servo mount. The rear battery brace screws in from the bottom so you should be able to clamp the velcro between the brace the chassis to lock it in.

just a thought. I am un aware of any produced larger battery hold down

I'm not even going to ask "why?". Just buy a generic battery tray with straps, and bolt it onto the chassis. Have a Dremel tool with you, 'cause you'll be chopping/hacking things up.

You most certainly would have to go with another body that doesn't contour the rear tapered part of the chassis.
Edit: Anything other than a shorty and you'll have to stand the batter on it's side to clear the center diff.

The 410 has a small battery compartment (only fits a shorty pack. there is not enough space for a standard battery box (red rectangle shows the battery area) if there is a shorty battery box the only attachment point in the chassis is the rear post of the battery area.

Rusty-

Re-reading your post I think you are right, one could cut the body and have the tray stick out past the tapper, not sure how protected the battery would be, but a shell tat fit that would look pretty old school, I think I like that idea

I don't know why I'm even entertaining someone else's notion of putting a normal size 3S LiPo pack on a ET410 chassis. The center diff is the obstacle. A person would need to stand the battery pack on it's side to clear things.

Dude, it's a rocket! I don't even like running it on 3s because I'm afraid I'm going to blow something up.

There are shorty 3s packs that "should" fit. Typically they're used on crawler "trail" trucks. Very nearly the same size and weight as 2s shorty packs.
