I bought all the carbon bits from Tekno. Carbon shock towers really aren’t needed. Fan mount is wise. I like their carbon battery strap. Rear hubs are a weak point with the pill system, you can either backdate to ET410 parts or go aluminum. I had a steering rack breakage today (bearing pulled through), so I’ll get some Exotek aluminum bits to help with that.
Overall they are a blast. I found with my 6.5T motor, running my throttle EPA down to 80% shaved .5+ seconds off my lap times. It was much more like a 13.5 wheeler and way easier to drive. Slowing down the servo speed or getting expo dialed helps tame the steering.

have you tried the 48p spur gears? Would rather not have to buy more gears.

Yesterday’s main. We’re not taking things serious until we get our setups figured out (and still won’t even then
). My brother and I just got our .2’s running, and got a few others to bring theirs out of hiding. The orange truck is one of the local expert drivers.

One of the draws to the class on our local carpet track is that it isn't serious. All the truck classes tend to have more smiles while the buggy classes are more serious.

i built it with the same carbon and aluminum bits you mentioned.
i went with the aluminum shock caps just because i remember the bleeders were easy to strip on my eb410
im still running the stock rear hubs, ive picked up a spare set as well as a spare set of towers.
the only time i broke a hub on my eb was when i was smashed into at the end of a straight so well see how it holds up.
im running a 5.5t with a 15t pinion at about 70 percent

Guys, I consider buying used 410 or used/new 410.2, prices of used 410 are much lowe than 410.2, is it worth to buy newer model? Is first one that bad/often breaking, parts still available as to .2?
Anyone used 3660 sized motors od 3652/3655? Worh it?

I am in euriope and difference is like used 410 with electronics, lipos, parts and 3 sets of wheels for 300Eur and new 410.2 is like 430Eur new kit. As for 4-6 track days a year it makes me think which one to choose. But if 410 is much less reliable (I hate repairing on track days) then it seems to be solved. Please correct me.

I think the big durability improvements are the bigger hinge pins for the arms, and the bulkhead brace. If you want to drill out the 410 arms (or buy 410.2 arms) and buy the new style hinge pins, they can be retrofitted. A used (good condition) ARR 410 for 300Eur seems like a steal, if the electronics are good - I think I have ~$900 USD into my 410.2

I bought this used one, 4 lipos, 4 sets of wheels, additonal new spare parts, hw esc and trackstar motor I will change, but still nice to get it.
Do you see any upgrades there already mounted? Guy said something about aluminium shocks, and some carbon parts.
