I'm running Prism T rear and Swaggers on the front, which seems to be a great combo. Some of the other guys are running Pin Downs and Swaggers with good results as well. I can say I was not a fan of the Prism T fronts - they were too edgy. When I ran Pin Downs on my ST, I couldn't get more than ~2 race days out of them, so I'm hoping the Prism T rears will last a bit longer - so far they're still looking good after 3 race days.

They buy the foams from gone bananas racing skinz on facebook. About $70 per set delivered. But they last a long time.

No trimming, no grooves. Generally, they apply tire sauces once per day and that's it. I'm guessing they can get 40-50 race days out of a set if they don't chunk them too bad hitting a wall. Probably more.

Test results are in - braces suck. Major loss of rear end traction, even on smooth black CRC carpet. Both myself and my brother tried them with the same results.

Interesting... What was the original issue?

No issue, just attempting to stiffen the chassis and see if handling improved...

Planning to shoe horn an XR8 SCT ESC and associated motor into my ET410.2. Mostly it'll be run on a small carpet track, but may make it's way out to a dirt track at some point.

Can anyone confirm that a 3660 will fit?

I'm thinking the 3660 4300KV.

The other option would be the 3652 5100KV

Have you tried with a single turnbuckles? This setup with 4 points will modify the longitudinal flex but also the torsional flex. I suppose that you would like the modify first without affecting the second.

Just my 2 cents.

No, without having the TB centered, a single TB in this install would cause uneven torsional flex. It was just an experiment to see how it changed the car's behavior, I'm still the limiting factor by far

Favorite body for the ET?

My kid needs a new one. I'm going to be building a new kit for me so I could also give him the Tekno one and buy myself something else.

Only requirement is the front shock tower has to be covered.

Yes it will fit. Used a xr8 sct 3660 combo in mine. Kinda overkill lol but fun

Trying to decide between the tekno carbon fiber top plates and receiver mount or the prostar top plate that connects it all together. Cost is certainly a consideration, as is it being "too stiff". Primarily will be run on carpet, but could find it's way to an 1/8th scale track.

Would love to hear some comments from experience.

Front and Rear piston and oil weight suggestions needed for
low bite dirt, bumpy conditions. Anyone using Teckno machined
8 1.1 or 8 1.2 in front with 8 1.3 in the rear.

I'm liking the stock one more and more. Some of them are slightly better looking, but they're still lipstick on a pig The stock body is the only one that keeps the rear velcro attachment points, AFAIK, and we've been running without body clips (just velcro), which has the added benefit of making the body last longer if you shave the body posts off (otherwise they tend to crack right under the windshield from chassis flex).

That's why I opted to run the stock one on mine. Or, at least I will when it's built. I'm familiar with the velcro on the back, but where do you put it on the front?
