Are these the right parts for upgrades to a TT-02? Our rules allow shocksm universales, metal motor mount, bearings an screws.
Is there a better shock to go with? I think someone mentioned a 3racing shock. I might end up with a S6/4 so maybe that would be a better way.
Obviously there are some duplicates. Are the yeah racing pieces better than Tamiya? They're cheaper for sure.
54753 Oil shocks
Yeah racing tt02-015 Universals
Yeah racing tt02-017 universal cups
53792 Tamiya universals
54477 Universal cup joint
54558 al motor mount

Raman locally we run a class called Scale Spec. Indoor rules require ROAR 25.5 motors and you can use either VTA or USGT wheel/tires. Any scale body is currently accepted. I normally run a TA07, but the plan is to try out the TT02 just to see how far off pace it is. The heavy VTA wheel/tire combo, heavy Tamiya body, and possibly it being a TT02 chassis are all likely points against it being competitive. I built the TT02 chassis for GT Pro Spec, but I only have one TCS race I'm planning on attending, so I figured I'd get some use out of it for now
Eventually it will go back to a 257mm wheelbase and likely have either a Ford GT or Mustang GT4 body adorning it.
OVA you're absolutely right. Scale appearance before all else!
You think you'll find time to travel down to Yacolt to race with us one of these days?

We started running the TT02 class and we are having fun. One guy our state champion with a box stock beat us with on hopped up kits. Now I'm doing a realist looking Datsun 240 Z #33 Paul Newman car. Can't find a 280ZX but . I'm also working with my light guy for working brake lights and headlights. I have them on my F!- when you hit the brakes they blink and go when not braking. When I get it done I'll let everyone know but it will not be anytime soon as my light guy is also working on our other project a timed pit stop for our F1 cars (portable). Maybe we will use it for this class in the future?

Fakirr- I have them on my F1 car and having him do the same for the TT02 body I'm going to use. I've been selling the F1 lights around my Florida tracks for about a year. When i get my first one's I'll post them. But it won't be anytime soon- probably a month or so.
I do have the present light kits out there but I like to have the brake lights come on when I hit the brakes- looks real.
