Recently acquired a TRF419X, looking for a XR conversion kit or a lower aluminum deck for black carpet racing. Haven't found any except a 42333 419XR lower deck but does look like its compatible with the 419X. Any suggestions? Thanks

Prior to the XR, there was the WS aluminium chassis, which is fully compatible with 419X. I have a WS chassis that was only used on carpet if you’re interested.

Not chassis related, but you can purchase the Suspension Upgrade Set (Tamiya 54886), that gives you a notable improvement, especially C-hub reliability and steering angle. Chassis stiffness wise, I am not sure if you need more than the X provides.

Thanks I saw that upgrade. I’ve run the exotek C-hub in the past but might look into that.

I’m using the 420 upgrade, much more reliable as far as C hubs.. but I still advise using the Xray hard bumper.. which helps a lot as well

No they Fit perfekt only less shiming on the Blocks. You can notice on the first pic.
Now I use also the TRF 416 Cups on the Pulley. You need no Blades.
