Engine Question. Troubleshoot.

Let me point you on one thing, I am not stupid for sure when the talk is about electronics, mechanics and nitro engines.....
Hmmm..... that does not sound like:
Yep, and most normal commercial fuels for car use have 9 to 12% oil. There are even plenty of racing engines out there that will not get a proper tune with 18% oil in the fuel.

Are you still putting 20w-50 engine oil in your family car? You don't have an argument to make if your basis for it is 20+ year old recommendations.

Back in the day O.S. did recommend using minimum of 18% oil content for their engines. That was a long time ago though. I do seem to remember using a lower oil content with my O.S. CZ-Z's. The thing is that O.S. doesn't recommend this no longer and hasn't for some time now (probably over 20 year or so). With the addition of synthetics less of an oil percentage is needed. The idea of running 18% oil in a modern engine like the one mentioned by the op is just crazy.

Sorry, but dont espouse a generalization if it does not apply. And if you were OS "savy" you would have known what Roelof was asking by 210X given there are so many... X could be 1,2,3 etc...
