Rules also say "Aluminum T-Plate mounts are permissible on the chassis to increase durability of chassis..." I'm fine with this, but can the CF front clip be added as an allowed part for durability? Once the plastic front clip breaks, and it will, its near impossible to find a replacement for some bodies, which would render the otherwise usable body useless for box stock class.

You will get a range of opinions about the aero effects on these cars. While I see it watching the Mod class run at big track. I ran my basically box stock car with a partial broken rear spoiler with no effect. Big track or mini96.
I haven’t tried running different sized wheels. I could see them altering the drive ratio. With real world cars, I’ve seen cars change with altering wheel size. In these cases it’s usually going to larger wheels.

Thanks for the reply. Here is what I'm getting at. The wing on my 911 GT1 broke off yeas ago and I've run it without the rear wing since, but this body would not be legal under the box stock rules because I'm not using the original wing. I could see not allowing aftermarket wings to be added to a body, but not allowing a car that doesn't have a wing is what I'm asking about. Only 3 more posts and I can post pics. Yay!

I don’t think a wing missing would be a issue. But if you decide to replace the wing with one of the aftermarket wings, that probably would be outside the rules.

What did you hit to break that? Had to be something solid.

T2,
The sporting nature of the Box Stock class is really to be able to pull the car out of the box, charge batteries, swap tires and run some hot laps. Having tires, springs, and T-bars open allow some tuning and helps a newbie learn how the chassis reacts to changes. The wing/body rule is to prevent a body being modified for an advantage i a, fine with not running a wing at all Lastly the 20mm wheels rule is just to keep life simple and not feel the need to buy more stuff. As for the front clip I do not think stock ones will be an issue on the M96 track. If we start allowing more and more aftermarket stuff we lose the nature of the Box Stock class.
Goot to have ave you on board.
Cheers,
Jim

Well got my track up and ready but looks like I have to play with different apps for a droid for lap counting. Laptrax is not consistent and I'm getting false laps and late counts. Hopefully I find somthing
