I put a Tekin Pro4 4600 in this with an RSX esc. I haven't run it yet, but should race it sat. I talked to Tekin and will send the unopened 5100 back to them when it arrives. I am sure the Pro4 4600 will be all the motor I will ever need. Setting these up is very similar to setting up a 4wd sct, same servos and same motors.

I went by the manual and verified everything is put together properly

I also spaced the bottoms of the shocks back 2mm to make sure the springs cleared everything. While I was at it, I replaced the TKR1240 M3x18mm Shock Mnt Screws with normal M3 20mm button head screws. I never had a screw come undone on an arm before. The reverse threads on the TKR1240 screws would just mess me up on my screwing/unscrewing practices .

While on the spring subject, my stock Yellow rear springs are too short to allow me to get the ride height I am after. At full droop, I have the shock adjustment collars just touching the top of the springs. When I push the truggy down; let the shocks do their thing; the ride height is too great, and I can not get the rear to "bones level". If I loosen the collars to get bones level ride height, the rear springs will come off the spring perch at full 108mm droop...not good.

I had to go to the softer rear Green springs in order to (barely) get my ride height that I was after.

Sorry I didn't clarify, but that is what I was talking about. There is no need for spacers on the top of the shocks.

raced the ET today, which also was the first time I've driven it, and while I didn't set any lap records, I had a great experience racing this thing, it is an absolute blast to drive!

What an awesome track!! I would love to race there. Today I had to leave a race because too much dust. Not a bad layout, but my sinuses kill me already. Where is that?

Pit Stop Hobbies in Mount Joy Pennsylvania, great track and they run a great race program, it's a 40mi drive one way for me, but 100% worth it, they have a well stocked shop on site as well

I would do 120 each way for a track like that! I thought it was North East, but not sure where. Looks like the perfect ET410 track to me.

I looked at Tekin's site on the Pro2 and Pro 4 and they do not advise using the Pro2 for the ET410 but for 4wd buggy class, the Pro4 4600 is for the ET410 class. I put the Pro2 5100 in my B64D and it does great in there. The ET410 is too much for the Pro2. The Pro4 4600 has no problem with the ET410 as suggested by Tekin. At first I was going to return the Pro2 5100, but decided to try it in the buggy, and glad I did. With the RSX you can run dual mode by disabling the sensor in mode one. These 4 pole motors run so cool, and are plenty quick. I am experimenting with gearing and temps to get as much speed as needed. The ET410 takes a lot of power to move it as it is heavier than a buggy, and we already know about the servo issues as those big tires can really beat it up. I wanted to add that the Pro2 5100 takes the smaller 3mm shaft pinion, and the Pro4 takes a 5 mm shaft. I also had to modify the motor mount bracket to allow access to the pinion set screw.
