I am using an Orca that did great on the B64, but not on this. I guess I need the HT Tekin 6.5 for sure, but the Pro2 5100 could be the beast I need? The 6.5 would be considerably cheaper though. The set up sheet is Jesse Munn.

Mine looks so close to this. 20g steal D block. Exotek Rear Brass 56g. then Two Brass plates on each side in the front (2 sets of 26g and 43g, AE Brand). I had to add about 200g to make min Roar 4x4 SCT weight. Nimble is a great word to describe in.

I was using the Pro2 5100. It had great top end but didn't have the bottom end I wanted. This gave it more of an on/off feel. I switched to s Hobbywing 3800 at half the price and couldn't be happier. Running 19 or 20 pinion and equals the speed of the Pro2 with a lot more bottom and mid range

I was very impressed with how well it handled and jumped along with how easy it was to drive consistent fast laps in 4x4 trim. I'm hoping it will work as well in 17.5 (stock) 2wd SC, but I'll have to wait until this weekend to get some laps in and be able to test some different setups. Gearing is looking like 69/30-33 at the moment, but I'm open to advice or suggestions anyone has.

I purchased an unused one from someone on FB, but here is the FB page for cobra racing https://www.facebook.com/groups/539051429511100/ Send them a message and they should be able to help you out. Here is another great place to find out info on these conversions be it 2wd or 4wd https://www.facebook.com/groups/1890104114538545/

Thanks again, it's working out great so far and been a fun project to work on!

You also get credit for the carisma front bumper as it is an improvement over the SC5M front bumper people were using!

Default Wing That Was Meant To Be

After putting up with repairing the lexan wing, and running the truggy without one, something had to be done.

Those SWorkz wings are the way to go! I don't think I even used the lexan wing at all, knowing it would just get destroyed after only a few hits.

so I got my et410 yesterday, bought it from a guy on facebook on the tekno buy/sell group, great truck that was never ran. he had it converted to front mount rear shocks, I want to run a Finnisher body so I converted it back to rear mounted shocks, after getting it all back together, my spring and spring cups are barely kissing the driveshaft/dog bone on both sides of the truck, I ending up making a pair of plastic spacers to get the needed space, anyone else have this issue? I went by the manual and verified everything is put together properly

The EB does it too. You can solve this with a 1-2mm spacer.

ooo, Carisma front bumper? what would that be? I'm using tbone Racing front and rear eb410 bumpers. But the front is about 1/2 inch under Roar rules for with. Rear is great. sc6.1 bumpers are not a great fit.
