It is set for 16% nitro but you can use the engine up to 25% nitro.

sorry i should of said it this way its set for 16 using the shims or the button head is made different?
because its the same shims as i always had since i started using os with the black head for years since it first came out.....?

Our head-button has a different shape(volume) and to use it with 16% nitro we use 1 copper shim(0.1mm) and 1 aluminum shim(0.15mm)
On short tracks you can try to take our the copper shim to get more low-end power but you will then also have a higher fuel-consumption.

rody would it be ok for me to use the original button head that comes with the 2101?

one last ? do you have the original part number for the inner head ? os don't list the 2101 anymore on there site thanks!!

Thanks rody for the fast response!! I am very excited to try your motor. I once mentioned this not sure if you remember but my very first motor ever when i started in RC 15 years ago was a rody roam rb c4!!! man was it a beast!!! my very first race they had a radar gun there and also no one knew who i was and i had the fastest car 69mph!!! and every one was running jim hottingers hotmods which did 67mph!! they sure knew my name after that!!!
its an honor to run your motor!!!

hi rody have a small problem the 2101 black head motor i got from a main is that a gt 2101 motor?
i just got my 2101 button head from os and it dont fit the sleeve is too small, did i buy the wrong motor?
