I seem to remember there being a video requirement( someone said that would be easy) for things to count. I know it’s just getting going but if this does start going somewhere, decision on that should be made.

Billy,
No need for video but we do need a screen shot of the race time.

Cheers,
Jim

Nice Going MD, We are pretty darn close to each others time.

Killer fast lap, I have never gone that fast with any of my MR03's.

Cheers,
Jim

Thanks. I will try to get the stock mr03 in the next day or two. How long are we running this layout? I’m hoping to be able to get the parts to finish the GLA and try this layout.

You have plenty of time, planning on going to the end of May and then do a new layout every month from there on out.

Cheers,
Jim

Sounds great. If I get a chance I’ll post a pic of the car I used.

Ok, it was discussed in the previous thread. If this does grow it would be something to consider.

The saying slow is fast comes to mind. Always thought it was a dumb saying. The only upgrade is Boca Bearings. I’m sure if I tried I could probably get in the high 4 second range. The stock car is only getting faster as the motor breaks in. I believe that run was my second time running the car out the box.

Default Updated my times.

Got to run two sessions for each of my MR03s. I cut some time off my Fast lap in Pro-Stock and shaved some overall time off my Box-Stock. I ran the GLA with a shaft borrowed from a WL Toys Car but its still not long enough but was able to muster up a fast lap of 5.04 even with a crippled car. The one shaft slips and last night my steering spring broke and I put one out of another controller but it's sticking. I'm beginning to see the potential in the GLA. I believe it will be a beast when everything is corrected. Heres the run. Not very consistent because of the steering and shaft deficiencies.

The GLA sure can be a beast if it is set up well but boy is it a disaster if it is not.

Cheers,
Jim

Ohhh...I went 383s with the GLA this morning and it was in desperate need of having the dampeners repacked. I am thinking a 375s 75 lap stint is totally possible with an open car.

I will I’ll update my times once I am in front of my laptop.

Cheer,
Jim

Great Idea - hats off to you for coordinating this project. I’ll be participating in this for sure.

Question - where would a box stock FWD mini z fall in this? Can’t run a 7 tooth pinion (I think the internal ratio is different).

Have that, a stock 2WD, Open 2WD, and Open 4WD.
