I'm using the kit roll springs (purple)... the video doesn't show the chassis roll very well but it was leaning decently in the corners.

why would it be less efficient ?

because on other cars you have the dampers to dampen the spring and sway bar.
This is more or less segments on the Project 4X, therefore running without oil in the roll dampers could induce slide hopping in the corners.

We are running orange heave springs front and rear. on the roll we run red front and purple rear.

but wouldn’t a stiffer spring on the roll damper help While keeping the damper oil-less ? Or the dampers most have oil ?

Yeah and 3k & 5k for the roll dampers, I think for roll dampers 1k should be the maximum and take care of the rest with the roll spring and other adjustments.... using too thick of oil makes the car no roll naturally or a predictable way

No. I have only used the car in USGT (21.5) - mostly on the small tight grey Ozite track in the video. I did run the car at the Canadian nationals (huge CRC black with new subfloor) The car was much better on that track (with heavy roll damper fluid).

makes sense , basically the oil works like a roll center adjusment... thick-oil= Lower roll center and thinner oil= higher roll... so makes sense to go somewhat thick on the roll damper and soft in the spring.

I really hope there will be a conversion kit (upgrade to Pro) because I really like the design of the new upper deck and the new rear suspension. I'd also like to see a stiffer floating servo mount because it's a wet noodle compared to the solid one piece designs on my Destiny and Yokomo. This has to be reducing steering response.

One will be a stiffer servo plate and one to mount it on the right.

huh oh you wanna play shorty? Good idea!
The most interesting part in the Pro is not having the new upper deck (pretty sure that vertical one was better with aluminium chassis) but it is also about the difference between front and rear. The rockers are different, the roll damper cf support are different, the roll center is now different...
Goddam Post, where is mine?!
