I just ordered the Arrowmax mid motor conversion kit for my Project 4X. Anyone tried this conversion?

I have. Very nice, but I found a default in the conception, the front part of the upper deck is very thin and there is nothing to prevent it from breaking on front crashes. Maybe a X-brace or something would have been nice. But the car is really working well with the mid-motor.

If you guys haven't noticed I'm using floating steering and servo mount down the center line of the chassis.

The electronic rear end side is very light and I am using LCG lipo.. so right now I am sitting at 1310 grams still waiting for weights to come in to get it up to minimum weight limit.

What's the diameter of the ball cups / studs?
What alternatives do I have to replace the serpent ones but keep the kit cups?
