My Evo2 WCR runs around 180-200 at 60-70 degree weather in LA and is very fast.

Default play

Hi

I am currently running in a tup12....and while i was on the 6th tank... there was a weird sound coming from the engine.....when i checked it out i found the spring was broken that holds the header........it could be the rattling sound........ second thing that worried me......most was that the pinions gears had a lil bit of play when u hold them and shake them..... I heard its normal but when compared it to my OS 12 tr on the fw.. it was not that much and there was more play on the sirio......... is this normal the setup was done as the book........ do we need to add more shims incase of the 12 tup ???

anyone faced this problem........

Break in ......

the site says to do almost 10 tanks...i am on the 7th tank........right now can i lean it to the top range and richen it just a lil bit so that it would help me set the sleeve......or should this be done after the 10th tank. the website videos does not elaborate......

currently i am running really rich......but while running i have to give bursts as the car sometimes comes to a stop ..... so i have to go full throtle to get the car moving...... coz its that rich !!!

any suggestions here will save an engine !

cheers
Ziizo

Sounds like its running too rich if u have to keep giving it burts to stop it from turning off if your on the 7th tank. Start leaning the top end off a little each tank now and a new glowplug will help too.

hey guys,

does sirio have a o-ring kit for replacing all the o-rings in the carby? If anyone knows or has the part # that would be great!

If they don't if anyone knows the sizes I need to get that would also be a great help.

thanks!

Wink SIRIO PIPE

Does anyone know where to get a Sirio pipe? And possibly a part number for the good pipe. It will be going on a Evo 3.

Thanks, Tenderfoot

Default my evo 2 update

had a race last week and have a hard time getting my motor to run good, but by the end of the day it was blowing away everyone in my class on the back stretch. 2nd gear is a killer, my motor ran about 260 degress and was on fire in terms of performance. this was the first time it has ran outstanding with out running much hotter. with a little adjust to the mid range and another good day at the track i will be close to the leader in our points standings, im currently 3rd!!!!!! not bad for a guy that has no tunning experience.
