Àrr you talking about the b6 or b6.1? There is no layback option for the b6. If going from the b6 laydown to standup there is no difference in the top haft. The idler gear is different though.

And prevention would be to install a longer ballstud that protrudes beyond the bracket so you can extract it with pliars.
I also don't use the standard blue Associated spacers under my ballstuds any longer. Switched over to the larger OD spacers used on Losi 22 vehicles. More stable for sure. Warning: Losi spacers are not cheap...LOL

I didnt say layback or laydown, I said standup. As in, I want more rear grip
I know the b6 stand up fits and I might try that, if i still have mine. But I cant find any actual picks of the b6.1 with the new stand up anywhere.

Can anyone give me the correct tie-rod lengths for 0 and 0.5 and +1 degrees of toe-out on the B6? Thanks.

Unfortunately, they are different depending on what steering arms you are using, how many bump steer washers you have, your camber setting, your caster setting, your ride height, and how many ackerman spacers you are using. Best thing to do is adjust them after setting up all other suspension/steering parameters.
