WHen you say front hubs forward, I may be missing that but is that on the setup sheet somewhere? I see the part about the rear.

It's not on the setup sheet. The build has you shim the hubs back with a 2mm shim. We moved the shim to the other side of the hub. Drive a few laps with it kit, then move the shim and see how it changes things. It's a quick change. Just make sure you watch for any rubbing.

That's strange. This setup allows good steering into corner. And what about mid to exit steering?

You have said that you don't use full kickup, so it isn't the same setup (anything different?)
Try full kickup. On slippery track, you "must" use full. If no, you loose steering

I'll try this. Shaft and Spring= enough gap?

More shims on bumpsteer works a little bit for mid steering too.

Yeah it's close but I didn't see any rubbing. Give it a try. It's a really quick change to try.

I'm actually going to use David Hemenway's (Our RTM for New England) setup for a few races. We swapped controllers up at the Rumble and his car was super easy to drive while maintaining corner speed. I'm going to give him some feedback on our local tracks and then I'm sure he will post it up on the Tekno website.

Does anyone have some battery recommendations for racing?
The local hobby shop that supplies for racers and comes to the track and races themselves are recommending the Orion 14084. This is fairly expensive, but if it is the best option I will get it. I am wondering if there are any better options for the price or equal for a lesser price? I will buy the Orion unless I find something better or equal but more economical.

Thanks

Check out Fantom Racing and SMC Racing. Pretty good prices. Though SMC would be the cheapest.

in addition to other mentioned I like promatch too.

I know the base diff setups seem to be 7-7-5,

Here though its pretty loose, like ultra loose. So I am thinking of going down to 7-5-3 and see how that goes. Anyone else try something similar or just the 3K in the rear and can report on what they saw?

we run a mid to loose track and 7 5 3 is what I've always ran rear is planted with good entry and exit steering. I've even had wheelies on the straight with this set up. I do rebuild diffs every 2 races since fluid is thinner. I have even went 553 a few times and that work well also.
