Just a little bit better brakes. Also even thought if you don't use reverse set it to 100%. It improves the brakes.

Okay, silly question. I have ordered a new XeRun XR10 Justock ESC and an LCD Professional Programming box for my USGT car. Will the LCD programming box also program the older blue 45a Justock ESC I have in my M05 (or was that wishful thinking)?

My justock Ibought last week does not blink. It's one of those under $60. Trying to reset per default instruction and still not blinking. I don't have a program box. Any advise would be great

If the LED is on solid, then it sounds to me like your throttle centering is off. The Justock only supports blinky mode - no flashy and LED lit solid, then the ESC is doing something with the motor. My guess is that if it doesn't move except when you apply the throttle then it's "braking" while your throttle is centered. Try a recalibration, using a wider throttle dead zone, and/or adjusting the throttle trim on the radio (or some combination of the above).

My ESC has been working flawlessly since I got it a year ago. Got this new 17.5T motor this week and after a few full throttles on the bench after installation the speedo was blinking green instead of red. Each full throttle blips were no more than a second. Any ideas? Thanks.

Just getting back into the hobby and these were recommended for the class I'm considering. On their site I see the legacy and the XR10. Aside from the current difference (45A vs 60A) are there any differences? Would I notice a significant performance hit getting the 45A vs. the 60A in an F1 class? It's a spec class and I think these cars are fairly light. I can get the legacy for under $40 shipped new which Is why I'm asking.

Thanks
Dave

I have both and do not notice any difference with a 21.5 car.

Jesus, I asked the tech guys over at Hobbywing what the "technical differences" between the Justock XR10 and what they call the Justock legacy were as far as internals and also programming options and this is what i got back. That's about as informational as me teaching quantum physics to Frank Wilczek. How can anyone make an educated decision when their own website is so limited on information and their techs spew this?

Hello Dave,

New ESCs are overall more efficient, and have the "new updates" to hardware beyond the basics of trends that have changed over the years. Newer, better, faster is the core idea. if you're a "Serious racer", for sure, get the new stuff, if you're a casual racer, the legacy items 'work fine' as well. There is no real decision to make beyond "how serious" you take your racing or usage. If it's for 'Racing' and you're going for the win and want to run with the big dogs, then the new stuff is better. If it's a casual build for basic usage, or non serious racing, the older model is fine.

I seem to be having an issue with drag brake. I have it set to 80% with brake force set to 100% and initial brake set to drag brake. It doesn't seem to slow the car down at all it just keeps rolling. I have a spectrum dx3r transmitter. What can I do to get the drag brake to be more effective?
