Ran a hobby king 5.5t with the sp pro 1.1 with no lvc. Car "cut out" early after about a five minute run. Checked temps and both esc, motor were under 40 degrees Celsius. Turned off motor overheat and I think was okay. Kinda odd. Will keep this current setting. Should be okay since its autumn here.

Quick question. Didn't find an answer by searching. Lots of searching.
Is it possible to flash the Reventon Stock Club ESC to another firmware? Say like the Mod series of firmware. I ask because I have a Reventon Stock Club ESC that I'd like to use on a car that won't be raced and I'd like to add reverse to it.
I also have a Reventon S so I'm familiar with the programming software. When I hook up the S it connects right away to the software but when I hook up the Stock Club Race it won't connect to the PC software. I can program without issue from the LCD programming box so I don't believe it's a bad ESC. Thinking it might be locked out of the PC software.
Anyone have any experience with this?

This thread seems pretty "dead" with not much factory support, but here goes anyway...
I seem to have a problem with my Reventon Pro (not the 1.1 model)... It has gotten "soft" on the bottom end - no "grunt"... The first noticable effect is that the motor runs really HOT because it has no bottom end and loads up and overheats... I tried gearing WAY-way down (5 teeth) and the motor cools off, but at the cost of huge loss of overall speed, and worst of all, there still isn't much bottom end power... The effect gets worse during a run - jumps that can be cleared early in the race become impossible later in the run... Tried different motors - it isn't the motor...
Any ideas or suggestions...? It worked great for several months (running it with a 10.0 motor in Mod Truck offroad), then the motor started running hot and the bottom end went soft... Thought it was the motor, swapped it out for a new one... Not the motor...

PS: WTF is going on with Speed Passion's software... My computer screams about malware in the Reventon software download - and my antivirus flags the entire web site as "Dangerous"...
MY Reventon interface is now dead because the removal of the malware disabled it...
Now I have 3 Reventon ESC's that I cannot update, etc... WTF?

You can add reverse to stick was but you have to do it using the flashing light button option - download the durango dex210 rtr manual for details how.

How do the SPV4.0 motors run? Never ran a SP motor but looking at a 9.5 for my 2wd buggy as for me 7.5 and 8.5 are mor than I need and with a 9.5 my driving will be much smoother overall.
