I've traditionally done the diff screw head on the left side (driver's side), but have since switched to the Right side (passenger side) regardless of transmission type (3 gear RM vs 3 gear MM and 4 gear MM). Kdub (Kurt Wenger, former AE designer) had this to say on the matter: I think I count as an authority on the matter. I always run my diff screw on the right side (when sitting "inside" the car). I take off the tire and pull the outer hinge pin to get to the adjustment screw.
The right rear is the way the AE manuals state (or used to state). It really shouldn't matter since you go around turns both left and right.

I have a pretty dialed B5M FL that I run at DRP in Old Forge, Pa. But on Sunday I bought a B6 from A Main with a $20 off coupon and opted for the free shipping for $289. It should arrive on the 16th.
DRP is ozite carpet and very "supercrossy", there is usually one corner done in thin MDF to make it slick. I read this whole thread, but skipped the drama. I'm not the best driver, but I'm within 1.3 secs/lap of the fastest guys. I'm a 40 something with a descent job, and I do this more for the fun of it rather than trying to win the a-main. What are your thoughts on weight %s for 17.5?
What are some of the "must haves" for 17.5 carpet besides pucks and slipper eliminator?
FYI I also know I'll need to change to the ball diff to make the pucks work.

Bigchris,
Don't go crazy with must have upgrades..
We run machined shock bushings, machined pistons, x rings. Last year's b5m with laydown I had kashima shock bodies... I ran a bone stock yz2 last year and was competitive in 17.5
I run @drp as well.

I have and will. You were the one who helped get my B5M FL dialed in, and let me put a few laps on your car last fall. Thanks.

I'll post some pics along the way as I build and paint.
Here's what I've got coming:
B6 kit (AMain)
MIP 16085 B5M to B6 spacer conversion $9 (from MIP)
MIP 16041 B5/B6 gear diff outdrives $18 (from MIP)
MIP 14230 Bi Metal pucks ~$57 (from ebay power_hobby)
I'm kinda stoked 'bout getting the B6 and trying it out.
