Tamiya mini cooper
This has been answered before, try searching for the post in this thread for the part numbers. Off the top of my head you'll need the new A parts tree and the new motor mount. There's also the new arms with the droop screw holes.
Chassis is much cheaper than a lipo and plastic motor mounts are the same. That is all you need apart from some longer screws if you use a standard servo. Arms etc. are totally optional.
There's a reason why "How to move to Canada" is a popular Google search in both countries. We're awesome!
yeah, I'm not too sure either. But I do agree, I like my friends in Toronto.BTW, for those that asked... here. It's the round 2S lipo 2500mAH but with a brushless, plenty of run time. $14.59

The A-parts tree for V2 was $16 + shipping for me. And if you're going to do it right, one will want to get the alunimum motor plates and such. Easily goes over $50+ conversion if I was going to do it.
Bigbores installed on my M03. Very smooth ride.
Will install the other set on my M05 maybe later this 4th weekend.

The esc is mounted too high on that m03, and you really do not need an esc fan either... Tape the esc to the side of the rear chassis, and put the receiver inside the rear chassis to lower the CG as much as possible....
Can anyone suggest a good quality M3 x 0.5mm tap? I just snapped my crappy DuBro one. Not sure what a good brand name would be for this kind of thing.
Sakadachi - You ESC is fine where it is. Wouldn't bother running the fan unless you're using a bunch of timing, though. These things never really get all that warm on a mini.

That's exactly how I use to run mine too, minus the fan, until I switched everything down low, and instantly caught the eye of other Amain mini racers... I was catching some of them around the corners consistently where before I was routinely traction rolling... I took it as a sign for me to be on mission to lower my mini's CG as far as possible by only running the lightest components up top, and adding lead as far down as possible: servo, body , esc , receiver, wires, antenna, transponder, etc, were all lowered all the way down as much as possible with tremendous results... Yeah, I still run a brushed motor(slower down the straight), but I think too much speed/torque can actually be bad overall for car control...
