It was an experiment. May still build a 2s2p out of the 4 I've got, but I'm thinking a TX pack would be a better idea. I only want one battery that needs an occasional charge.
Had a look at the voltage regulator, btw. It's the old reliable 5209 linear regulator (BS format, Micrel). It runs the internals at 3.3v, and burns the rest off as heat. Changing to a switching regulator ($5) would vastly increase battery life, but I'm not feeling all that enthusiastic right now. Here's the basic gist of swapping one out. Improving runtime on a DX6

I finally decided to buy a DX4R Pro and decided to register it so I could do any updates to it.
Upon doing so it says that I have update downloads ready for it but I cannot find what to download as the “tab” with “AirWare™ Software Updates” is greyed out and does not do anything link wise
Any advice? I have sent two emails to Spektrum without a reply yet

With the speed setting o. The steering. How does the percentage work.
Example if I have a 0.07s servo and set it to 50% what speed would it do. Does anyone how it does the calculations.
I'm Trying to get my 0.07s servo to the same speed as my 0.08s, anyone got any ideas on how to work it out. I suspect I'm Struggling with the extra speed and want to test. Then I can gradually come back to 100
Thanks in advance

The YR wheel hub does take a lil noddibg to get fitting right, but mine works perfectly and its much better than stock, I like its smaller and alluminum as it feels great through the foam.
Monster Trucking with AVC is BOSS, cant tell its on & wow what a great system. Pavement to dirt n back on street tires no problem, no wonky spins or pulling off to a side if one tire hits dirt or whatever. The system is awesome, love it. Its just no business in a Race, but neither does an MT either lol

Anyone know if the DX4S trigger can be in stalled on the DX4R? I already took a DX3S apart and the internal configuration for it's trigger is not compatable with the DX4R.
I'm probably better off selling my DX4R and buying a DX4S for my situation but would like to try the DX4R with a trigger I'm used to.

Did you ever get an answer for this? I too like the old-style trigger and would like to know if there is a mod or a replacement trigger for the dx4r Pro. I put tape around the trigger to try to ship it like the old-style trigger and it seems to work for now but, I would like to switch it if possible. I noticed that the new dx6r has the old style trigger on it, but at over $500 actually close to $600 I think I'll keep my dx4r for now.
