yes, the directions say to put 2 washers above and below... so there are 2 washers between the nut and the hub arm.... if the nut is supposed to go in the arm then why would it say put washers on it?

ok, I took the washers off and the nut does fit into the arm, but....... the bottom of the screw is still scraping the A- arm.

Glad you figured it out, it can be a little tricky.

Here is the pic of mine for reference just in case:

I replaced with just a slightly shorter screw. If you don't use a lot of washers it can be a little long.

make sure not to over tighten that screw. I check that screw after every run, it tends to back out.

I checked the and rechecked and I believe it is assembled correctly. Per the instruction, the initial bumpsteer setting two washers above and below the steering ball link. I took one washer out from above and below to see if that would help, but it didn't... I made sure I am using the correct ball with the flange faced correctly. I hope I explained it correctly and the picture helps. Thanks for any help you could lend!!

Lately I've been flipping the screw around. That puts the head of the screw into the recess for the nut and lets the extra threads stick out the top.

That is a good idea. If you go to the 15 degree caster blocks the threads sticking out become an issue.

i had 2 washers between the nut and the arm.... obviously incorrect..i'm good to go now... botton head screw def makes more sense to me in that applicatation... not a priority but i'll probably get around to switching that..

OK big quesiton...

My hobbywing M6C combo arrived yesterday! 1800 kv and 150a... is there anything specific I need to know about choosing a pinion with the 44t stock spur gear? I have a 17 and 18t that I am not using on my 8.2e... Will those work? The combo came with 13 and 21t... any suggestions if I am mainly bashing at this point and runnig 4s but plan on buying a 5s battery? for my first attempt at racing I will probably get some experience with my 8.2e rtr, I would rather destroy that one first! ha!

I geared my 2050 at 16 and it's sweet. So 18 on the 1800 should work. Pretty sure it's either the start of this thread or something they have a pinion guide
