OK - Bit the bullet and "converted" to the Tekno family.
I read the thread randomly (About 250+ pages).
Is there anything I should get or running box stock should suffice?

Any building tips?

It's more or less ready to go out of the box. I think I got the carbon fiber servo brace initially but that was it.

I did a bunch of build tip videos for my old SCT410, a lot of which apply to the EB48. Have fun, it is a nice build!

start with the kit setup. See what you like. If you find yourself needing more grip onpower at corner exit get the LRC brace. For your surface i would recommend the 8x1.3 pistons, and if you make any trips to a rougher track get a set of the 6x1.5's as well.

The mbx is really smooth but gets unsettled on my bumpy track pretty easily. It also took me quite some time to dial out understeer on a couple negative camber corners on my track. The tekno I took out in stock setup and it was so much more settled and just drove through all and any corners at my track. Both are good but wow was I impressed by how quickly I could just grab the controller and push out decent laps with the tekno. Ordered up some new pistons and springs stock is probably just a little light but will see.

Just tekno ones, if you have these and 8x1.3's you are pretty much covered in the piston department.
