Tekno RC EB48 Thread
Is anyone else using the LRC brace in addition to the Delrin LRC pills (sold by PROTC3) on the front and back of their EB-48's with success? I am currently running my EB-48 with both of these options with the camber links in the inner upper hole on the towers front and back and it has never been more dialed at the indoor track I race on.
On a side note when I tried these same options on my SCT410 it was completely crap, and didn't have any of the handeling attributes the EB-48 has on the same track. Just curious to see if any others have tried this out yet on either vehicle and noticed an improvement?

Well after a lot of reading and trying to decide. I decided to switch from my durango's to the tekno's. Bought a used EB48.2 off of here and plan on getting the NT48 and SCT410. I hope they are as good as everyone says.

Lutz did the same thing.
He seems to be doing pretty well with them so far.
Seriously, I think you will like them. Durability has been great and I have really enjoyed mine. People on forums like this are also very helpful

This past weekend I ran soft gridirons, x3 holeshots and green hybrids. They all felt good and were consistent. However, the holeshots were the fastest for me and that is what I ran in the main. The hybrids were a very close 2nd and feel if i would have had those in a Blue compound rather than green that would have been my tire.
Keep in mind the temps were a little higher than the weather is showing for TFT so a SS,x4,green is looking like what we will be using.
I will also have my setup posted shortly from what I ran this past weekend as it was a little different than my out door setup. I think I may go up a little on my shock oil in the front as a final change for the race as I felt it to be a little too soft for certain spots causing the front end rebound a little too quickly.

I tried similar changes with my SCT410 and made it worse with the rear end becoming erratic and the front being inconsistent and pushy in the 180° turns, but had been pretty decent before the changes were made.
Anyhow I was curious if anyone else was using both the low roll toe plate and pills together on either vehicle and what kind of results they noticed. I'll continue using this set up on the buggy, but need to go a different direction with the SCT410.

It is hardpacked dirt med to low bite depending on conditions and typically loses traction as the day goes on. I was experiencing issues with the rear end coming around and some push from the front end. Since making these changes and a few ride height adj everything got better for my style of driving with others commenting on how dialed in my car appeared to them.

I just have to settle on what adjustments to use to keep that increased body roll. Next I plan plan try running a 2.2 sway bar in the front and 2.3 in the back, so I keep close to the same ratio as stock. With those sway bars installed I'm going to raise my inner camber links to the top hole on both ends.
The biggest problem I have is that the timing system isn't turned on when I go out to practice. So I don't get that feedback as to how my perceived improvements actually translate to lap times.

Vertical Pill hole with the lowest location for both, Also worth noting I'm using the Fioroni pistons (biggest single improvement made to car) with AE 35F/30R.
