agree with Dave. 150 isnt hot enough to worry about. especially after 15 minutes. my motors are regularly at 160 165 if I push them real hard for a long time.

I tried the 16/81 for a FDR of 13.16. I liked the power from this setup and the car came off at 130. Leaving it alone! Thanks for the help!

Help - I want to run blinky mode with my reventon pro 1.1. I have stock 1 software installed on my computer, version V1.1.0.25, but I don't see how to turn off the hybrid boost functions. What should I select to get blinky mode?

Stock 0 is the "blinky" mode.

OK, I just found the stock 0 under the update firmware and downloaded it to the esc. Great.

Can anyone describe difference between the the Modify0 V21 programs?

Help: How to set blinky mode on a GT2 ESC? Can the LED box set blinky mode or must I upgrade first?

My PC interface does not see the GT2 ESC when I connect it through the LCD box. Which software do I need to download?

http://www.speedpassion.net/en/produ...802PROcb&c=ESC

Is it the 2.0 or 2.1 GT esc?

Click on the (downloads) tab and select the software.

i think you would need to download it first and update the box to the appropriate firmware. Then connect the esc to the box to select the profile (stock0, mod1, etc).

Make sure you are running the older software for the GT line of ESCs. The software that is used for the newer Reventons will not work. Also you need the older black programmer box and not the newer blue Reventon version.

OK, I saw the video and installed the older software (V1.38)on my computer and it opens but when I connected my the 2.1 GT esc with the black LED box, it still did not connect. Is V1.38 incorrect, perhaps I should use V1.36?

Do I need to install the older version of the USB port driver? (V.1.33) or should the newer version be ok? I have no problem connecting my Reventon Pro 1.1 ESC's.

Are you trying to use the Reventon programming box? If so, that box won't work with the GT line. They have their own programming box.

You can buy that or any other brand capacitor that is for an ESC. Most of them are very similar.

I'm swapping out my Reventon pro 1.1 from my B4.2 OUTDOOR buggy to my Yokomo BMax2MR for INDOOR Carpet.

Does anyone have any setting recommendations for Indoor Carpet vs Outdoor Dirt?

I was running a V3 8.5 outdoor, but I think I am going to drop down and use a V2 10.5 motor. I figured their shouldn't be too much difference. Is the typical setup to crank the ESC timing and just adjust the radio EPA to manage it? and likewise, playing with the DRRS as well so that the Launch is a little more sub-Dued?

Some of the guys will still run a hot motor like a 8.5 or lower and just dial out some of the power using their TX like you said. On carpet you might be able to get away with a higher DRRS "punch" setting because traction is massive. That would also depend on how the car is setup and how smooth you are when getting on the throttle.

Timing is hard to determine, but just look at speed and temp when running and adjust from there.

On a related note I have a few of my motors for sale... v3 8.5, 9.5 and Blaze 1800 and 2450kvs. PM me if intersted.

Does speedpassion repair broken speedos? My reventon pro died tonight. in the middle of my qualifier the car came to a crawl and basically stopped. No burnt smell temped it right away it was under 110 degrees. It wouldnt shut off by the button only by pulling the battery lead. Once turned on it the lights would correlate to throttle input, but it would not drive the car. I tested the motor and the receiver, and it looks like the reventon called it quits... Just curious if anyone has had one repaired or am I better off just purchasing a new esc.
