Mo,
The only changes from the two tanks dimensional wise is the height of the truggy tank thats it. That being said there is a possibility that the original poster of the issue is running the o-rings plus the new grommet that is included on the tank. This would raise the tank up about 4-5mm and cause it to hit the body. For those that don't know the new tank TKR5340B should only use the supplied grommets and hardware to secure it to the posts.

Love the brakes on the mugen when I had one. Need to it out on the Tekno. All that is needed is to drill out the hole a little bit and add shims?

Which mugen pads do you run? The blue ones? And the blue in the picture is the shims you are referring to I suppose? Brakes have been the only part of the buggy I haven't got setup to my liking 100%, they work I just want something more progressive.

Yes I use the pads off the mbx7. The holes need opened up a bit for them to work. Then shimmer out. I can post some close ups if you guys want. Super consistent and smooth

I made some Stainless rotors with bronze pads. They stop on a dime, and will never wear out.

The spur is fine.

What brake pads and rotors etc? The pic is nice but doesn't tell me much haha. That said, my brakes felt much better yesterday after putting the time into fixing them.

Which pistons will give more pack? 8x1.3 or 10x 1.2. Thanks!

Both kit "old" tank and new (which caught crack) were installed only using grommets, no o-rings. I've just received parcel with new "new" tank (5340B), gonna install it and upload pics as soon as possible

Was it a direct fit? No modifications needed? Why did you install the additional guide on the top of the diff housing? I honestly cant complain about the strength or durability of the brakes, my stock brakes have great stopping power when set properly, I am just searching for a more progressive brake, the fuel tubing seemed to help a bit
