the losi oils will be fine. I think the Losi oils are fine to use but I just feel like they seem to break down quicker and need changed more often.
the shock oil I don't think is very consistant

Chase. I still have my Kyosho's and Mugen's. Both are good cars but I think I'm really going to like the NB-48. Took it out to the Boneyard the other day. The track is a dusty mess but I wanted to try it out anyway. This thing carved around the track as if it was in perfect shape. Super impressed so far.

Attached is a short video from my Go-Pro. Video quality is not great but the guys that have run the track will see how good this buggy is running.

I will let you try driving buggy and truggy at our Cancer Benefit Race, but be prepared to buy one lol!!!!!!!!!!

If the bell had some sort of metallurgical flaw I think it would have failed before a gallon of fuel. From the looks of that bell it looks like you got a rock in there at WOT. Bet there is a nice impact mark from the rock in the spur gear also.

Looks good Bill looks like plenty of steering even with it being very dusty. I was in between the Tekno buggy and the Xray and I'm loving the X-ray so far. I TQed one round at flowood ended up qualifying 2nd. I do want to drive the tekno

Hey ZERTA RACING
yes I think there must be some pretty big tank differences. mine isn't even close to hitting the body. tough to get a pic from in there but you may be able to see.

Your front clutch bearing is broken that's the only time I have done that to a bell

Check your bearings and change more often makes a massive difference

Mo what is the change you made to the brakes there that looks like blue anondizing on something? I have been messing with my brake setup for weeks, I have plenty of brakes but what I have been trying to do is find the setting that actually allows for some progressive braking, it seems its either all or nothing with my current set up.

How tight does everyone tighten the brake pads?

Put some fuel tubing on the break linkage to give it a more progressive feel.

I tighten the brake pads with the center diff out of the car and I set it just loose enough so that the diff spins freely. I also use this time to set the brake bias. I prefer a 60% front/40% rear break setup, so while the center diff assembly is out of the car, I apply full brakes by hand and try to turn the center diff outdrives (front and rear) and adjust the bias on the linkage until I find the desired F/R bias.

Where on the linkage are you putting the fuel tubing specifically or do you have a pic you can share?

I run Mugen brake pads. After you open the holes up the pads need to be shimmer. Those are 2 mill washers I used for shims. I haven't been a fan of the glue on type pads. I'm hard on brakes and wear those out too quick
