My ET48 is back from paint and I'm hoping to hit the track this weekend if all goes well.

What type of surface are you running on?

As mentioned, like other vehicles, tires are more so surface dependent rather than vehicle-dependent.

Looks good Mark, where are you running it?

I'd like to get some run time on mine but it's looking like Motorama may be the first.

If you run on a loose outdoors track dusty , loamy try the AKA city blocks medium compound red foam inside , for me they work awesome , i also mix use medium in rear and hard in the front seems to work for me , or vise versa , of course this is my opinion , when the track is water look out tons of grip , you can try different set ups , i will try the aka gridirons , and prolines hole shots in the future , but i`m happy the way my truggy handles right now

Ok so I shot a 2 minute video of my ET48 but having trouble uploading to the site. Does anyone have a solution? It was taken with my phone and then copied to my PC.

Thank you for the idea! Never thought about using stainless, but I think I'm going to use titanium. It's lighter and more flexible. Not only that I have some Ti that same thickness.
Thanks again ChrisAttebery!

Thanks T. Herwig. I'm going to run some battery packs through it at ECH.

To anyone who has the ET48 already:

Is there a wheel wrench in the box? I've not owned anything using 17mm hex for a long time, and no longer own a wheel wrench. Do I need to buy one before this arrives?

I am running on med traction indoor clay. I have found the HB Megabites (pink) to work good.

Any recommendations on foams, these truggy tires seem to be loose fitting compared 1/8 buggy.

While I don't have the ET48 yet, I agree on these tires. Another good option I like even better possibly are the square pattern (Impact, Blockade, or whatever your manufacture of choice is). For my driving style, these give better overall traction on a dusty slightly loose outdoor track while the city blocks have a better forward bite. However, I typically run soft. With the amount of power these put down, I find that I end up tearing tires and/or rubber giving way before I end up wearing out a tire. These are torque/speed machines and with the size of these tires, long term reliability is an issue.

My preference is AKA red's, same that I use in buggy.
