For the body, I like how a truggy looks BEEFY. Like there's some real meat to it. I also think a really slim body would be cool though, just because it could be different.

So, I have a simple suggestion. Make a narrow ET one, and then make a version of the air control guards and nerf bars that can be put on to match the nitro body if somebody would rather a larger look with almost no extra fat.

I can get 20min at our local track if I'm easy on the trigger. 15min is not an issue. I'm running 5S on a 1550 motor. The pack is 5800 mah and weighs in at 655 grams.

I vote total alien star craft.

LOL! That looks more like a kid's squeaky toy than a race machine. I'd probably run it with something like big bird and cookie monster shown as the driver and navigator. LOL

Hmm...that gives me an idea...

We're not sure what we're going to do for the body. The chassis is so narrow and we'd prefer not to have a gap around the sides. So the body could end up looking really narrow as well. We'll have to see how it looks. My gut is telling me that we should make it narrow for performance and worry about the looks later. What do you guys think? Should it share with our NT48 or should it be a total alien star craft that performs like no other?
I think a wider body is the ticket. You could always add those air dams like you did on the sct410! Just not as wide. To skinny looks funny imo.

Actually I was going to ask you if it would be possible to run the same bodies from the nitros on the elecs? I think this would be a good idea as well.

Danny,

You know the Team Associated SC8.2e right? I'm wondering if the front and rear assemblies from the EB48 will mount up to the new ET48 chassis. Since these new rides have come to light I have all kinds of new projects I would like to get going.

Yes the front and rear clips of the buggy will bolt on to the truggy.

I should add that the SCT410 body mounts bolt right to the buggy shock towers as well. So if you put the buggy clips on there, all you need are the tires and the body and you're good to go.

But at least you'll have a lot of fun doing it.

I'd love to see this class explode like eBuggy did recently (in large part to the EB48, which is commonly more than half the field). Then I could justify buying one instead of just wanting to have one.

Curious about front/rear weight distribution?

ET48 must turn on a dime if you ask me.

Hi,

I was wondering what the ride height, diff ratio and spur gear size are.
