Thanks Scargoes, thats a good point and something i am going to try. Starting around a 5.0. Also i think i have another idea.... there are alot of on the throttle turns at our track, and i noticed the steering ball cups are hitting the wheels as i turn, thus locking them up. I set my end points just short of them touching now. I did this before putting the tekin motor back in, and am wondering if this binding was over working the motor....

I have a almost brand new reventon pro 1.1 and a 8.5 v3 in my b4.1-2. Last week I ran the car and it worked great. Tonight I changed my receiver and now it only has reverse, and it is like stuck in reverse. I have tried switching the receiver back to the one I had in there to no avail. Still just reverse. Turn the car on and the motor fire in reverse. Pull the throttle back and it will slow down but won't stop the tires. I am stumped. Any help?

When all else fails, resort to turning your radio settings back to the starting points, IE EPA to 100 for everything, and perform the setup process.

USUALLY that will fix the issues. It should work that Servo reverse is On, but in some cases it needs to be flipped to normal.

i have a reventon pro it was fine then I put it in a diff car rewired it now it wont turn on but If u hold down on off button rec light will come on , is it dead ? any one else have this problem?

This was the case on my Son's RB5 with an LRP Sphere Comp ESC and it drove me nuts!

Come to find out, somehow the receiver and radio were slightly out of sync and rebinding corrected the issue. Try re-syncing your system and see if that doesn't correct the issue.

Look on the underside of the ESC and make sure none of the solder points below are touching one another and on the upper side look for any fine strands hanging out and making contact with another point. Had a buddy experience this very thing with his RS Pro and after a few tries on the on/off switch his ESC let out a nice puff of smoke. When I looked at it, just a single strand of wire was hanging over onto another lead.

Now I solder all his stuff instead of the hobby shop.

I have a rev pro 1.1, when I just barely pull the trigger seems the motor cogs? Was wondering how to fix cog? I have tried different motors wires and nothing changes.

Could be a software setting?

Works fine on my windows 8 laptop, did you install the driver?

i did some searching and seems the conversation left off about this time last year. . but, im curious about running a SP esc either revention or gt for 4wd short course with a 4000kv 4 pole. i remember some discusion about no timing etc, which thats the way i beleive most other esc have to run those motors as well. any update im not seeing in the search?

Default Reventon 1.1

Brand new Reventon 1.1 here straight out of the box and can't programme. downloaded the software and drivers. Connected the LCD box and all it says in Connecting to PC for hours and the software says in pink - connect to esc. None of that works even if i connect esc the esc lights up orange and thats about it. So my first track session was MOD1 I guess default with no drag brake.

Any thoughts>?

Ran my SP Revention 1.1 for the first time yesterday. It apparently hates novak motors but put an Orion in and she was fine. need to adjust on her a little more but definitely happy with it so far.

Thanks to Felix over at expressrchobbies.com for helping me out with setting up and stuff too, dude really knows his stuff.
