Sorry about the Serpent towel.
looks like you are on some pretty high bite with the ghosted pins.

Is the setup online somewhere? I always like to see what others change on the car.

seen a few posts on it, setup similar to an SCT410, though, from what I have heard you need to shoot for more openess on the weight limitations rule since by default the vehicle is lighter.

I just ordered my tekno eb48.2 . Is there any building tips to look at? Diff oils? I did race kyosho buggy so I do have the springs and 1.3 x 8 pistons all ready. I have seen these buggy in action and take a lot of beatings so parts will be basic and understood. Arms -shock shafts - graphite towers only cause I like the carbon.and drive shafts. And spur. And bearings. Extra body.and the alum hinge pin mounts. What else would u all buy?
I guess I will take alum hinge pin mounts off the bling list. it comes on the eb48.2 and I see the akerman bar is alum too in the pics from tekno so guess it comes in the kit also. I need to read more than look a the pics (like a red neck). hahaha

Is there a conversion "kit" to get up to the v.2?
Or do you just have to get the parts? (*and if so, what are the parts?)

I'm asking about going from the EB48 to the EB48.2, not the lightweight conversion.

wondering if anyone has a prefered method of sealing up the vent holes in the aluminum shock caps. I'm thinking about using some JB weld otherwise a decent epoxy should do the trick being my current train of thought. Please advise if you have done this and have any tips or tricks up your sleeve...

Either way would work, you could even drill it back out later if you wanted.
