Team Associated B4.2 Thread
What do you guys think about the Jconcepts Finisher body b4.1 + 8mm for the b4.2. It's the best seller on A main. Has kind of a forward cab look to it, but nt as forward as the proline bulldog.
The puck system would probably be fine down to 7.5 but you would always have to remember it's in there. The mip components are really high quality and fairly beefy yet very light. If your a very smooth driver they will probably hold up just fine. Where I run my c4.2 (medium/small indoor clay track) I had a X12 7.5 in there and switched to a tekin gen 2 17.5 and my lap times were 2 tenths slower with a stock motor. The pucks will probably wear quicker with a mod. I'm a pretty smooth driver and I try to never spin a tire on my 2wd buggy. Worst case scenario you will waist $70 but once you experience the lighter feel more nimble of the buggy you might find a mod motor isn't necessary. Especially with the weight savings.
So......going to replace the ball cups/ball studs to eliminate some slop---is the latest consensus that the JC ball studs along with the Losi ball cups are the BEST way to go?? Also--part numbers??
