Post set-ups

has anyone tired to run a 415 style geometry on their EVO'4s?

I'm interested to see if narrowing the rear of the car helps the bite (per the 415 Worlds)

What do you mean by the 415 style geometry?
Does the Worlds conversion kit fits the EVO4?

I think he means the 415's "old" suspension. The kit suspension as opposed to the Lightweight Reversable version (same as Evo IV). Correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh, and I seriously doubt that the conversion kit would fit an Evo IV.

I was refering to the trend of using narrower suspension blocks (X blocks) and running less toe-in at the hub on the 415's (ala HPI)

Not sure if the Worlds conversion (blocks) would work well with the EVO because of the lower hinge pin location on the blocks (1mm?)

You could use the EVO X blocks and the new 0' rear hub for similar effects....maybe?

I guess time and testing will tell

john,

i was just talking to steve about this last night. once the evoIV "X" blocks come in, i'll be buying 3 of them and then slapping a C block up front and trying it out.

so instead of D/A - A/A i'll have C/X - X/X

i'll also pick up the worlds replica 0 deg hubs. and then test. third sat in jan. ill be out at tamiya testing. wanna join me?

What would be the gain for using this kit on the Evo 4?

Sounds like a plan

I'm currently running an X block set-up with slightly more rear toe (square hubs)

(Should have my MS built by then fo some back to back lap times against the EVO)

I typically only run mod nowdays (perma-loaned my fast 19t to my buddy) so I hope there will be enough people to hand me a pounding Do they allow foams and is that what is usually run there? It would be nice to know so I can set up my car in advance.

thanks all.
