I made some setup changes from last week as I went to a 2.5 rear bar from a 2.4 and I went up on the front diff oil from 7 to 10 and it's simply awesome. Tomorrow I'm going back to reduce the rear droop from 119 to 117 and go up to a 2.6 rear bar.

Thanks to Tekno for providing me with the opportunity to run for them. I wished I had only made the switch to Tekno sooner. I'm looking forward to the 2014 racing season.

I head indoor soon and I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do with it.

Anyone running a shorty pack from SMC yet? I ordered one and it's almost half the length of traditional 4s packs and could possibly give you some tuning options in regards to where you want the weight in the chassis.

I ran the HVR shorties and didnt like it too much. The balance of the car was thrown way off.

Rokle- it's only 4600 mah, that won't last 10 minute main I don't think?

Protc and Miholc- the SMC is literally a 4s shorty not two 2s Shortys like in your picture.

Reguardless of placement, how did you get yours balanced? Its 200 gram weight loss on that side. Mine balances with standard packs perfect but not with shorties. Not even close.

if he is running it in a "public" track, and anyone can see it, then it means that its not a secret IMO...

Please share details of your battery mounting system. I've been thinking of something similar for another purpose.

I think it would. My 5200 lasts that long with quite a bit to spare. We typically only run 7 minutes locally anyway.

I guess the cat's out of the bag. I'll try and snap some "on track" pics of it tommorow.
Btw I still prefer the finnisher body, but that's my opinion.

Thanks Jason. The chassis is 3mm and is 8 grams lighter then the stock chassis. The battery has also been moved further back on the chassis. Those are shims for the diff cases.

Stay tuned for more feedback.
